Notice: This is an analog hour meter, this one doesn't require a battery and as such, cannot be reset

I bought this to keep track of hours when I installed a new air compressor in my shop. Was concerned that it would not survive in a high vibration environment. It’s only been .8 hours so far, but it seems to work. Will see how it holds up.

I wanted to add an hour meter to one of my portable generators. I needed to get this meter caught up with the current hours which gave me a good opportunity to evaluate how accurate it is. 24 hours in, and it's right on the money. This meter does sound like an old clock, with quite an audible tick every second so this may not work well in noise-sensitive environments. The mounting was incredibly simple with a slip collar that locks into place. Great, economical hour meter for 120vac applications.

I bought this for a 12v application, because apparently, I can't read. It worked for almost an hour....which means it probably read just above "1" from the factory. Meter is of high quality build. Buy this for the right voltage and I'm sure you'll be happy.
