I was surprised how well this worked. I have a GMC pickup and most readers would show at the bottom rather than the top. This one twists so you can turn it so the readings face up. Works very well.

Works just like I expected. I choose this unit because my truck has the keyway on the bottom of the plug so I needed to be able to rotate the LEDs to face up. I only wish there was better marking for indicating what each LED indicated. The printing is small and is simply molded into the plastic thus it is hard to read, especially in bright sun light.DF - Napa 7-9-24

The product works fine but for some reason the design is wrong : the led are facing down (with correct position of the plug, of course).And it is for bith sides, either the 7 oin plug or the 4 pin plug.What I did to correct :I opened it (4 screws) and tilted the 7 pin plug, and on the 4 pin side I had to extend two of the wires and tikted it as well.Now the led are facing up.If they correct this matter I would give 5 stars.You should pay me for this tip.

I found the unit quite snug but it worked. When you remove it from the truck hookup, hold the hookup against the truck so that you don't pull the whole thing out of the bumper!The swivel was definitely needed. For horizontally installed harnesses, the LEDs point down so you need to spin the tester.It would be helpful if the 4 prong side also swiveled.Still, 5 stars!

When you plug this in on GMC PICK UP the LED lights are facing down and unreadable . The groove on 7 pin plugs on GMC are on the bottom.So this unit will not be usable on GMC pick ups. I will be returning it.
