All the information is there in the form of tables and pictures. Its very condensed and would probably work if you are in crunch mode and need to memorize the information. If you have more time, there are much better options. Also, the entire book is black and white with the exception of a few pages at the end that have all the pictures. The paper quality is also not very good.

I bought this as a supplement to Kaplan High Yield lectures / lecture notes. My online course came with medEssentials online, but I like to take notes by hand, highlight, etc. The material may be fine, but the book is so hard to use that after the first unit, I abandoned it entirely and just annotated First Aid instead. The notes are kind of all over the place, relative to the lectures. It's one company, why isn't the information all in the same order? It is printed in black and whiteThe paper is very, very thin. Thinner than regular 20 pound printer paper, but thicker than newsprint. If you like to highlight or write in pen, expect your ink to go right through the page. The font is insanely tiny.

I bought this book, and I am planning to use it instead of the Kaplan Lecture Notes as it contains almost all the Tables and Charts that are present in the Lecture Notes. I am using this book with Kaplan Videos.

This is only a core supplement with concise main key concepts that are taught during the live lectures, but definitely no substitute for the lectures. It is advised you actually go to and attend the lectures, use the lecture notes, and then use this book to clean up the review. However, keep in mind to give ample time because of that fact that this exam is multiple disciplines which integrate everything together. This book alone will not help you to finish the exam. However it is a start.

I honestly like this much more than First Aid. It seems to lay out information better. Plus you get the electronic version and the paper version! Best of both worlds! I'd still recommend getting First Aid since its the 'gold standard'. I do wish Kaplan posted errors like First Aid does though. I'm sure there in there. Humans make mistakes. Errors are in almost everything made. It's part of life. Still great resource though!
