Very easy and straightforward cone to setup and use. The larger size is good for bigger chickens or turkeys and is built very sturdy. Great value.

This is a solid kill cone for processing chickens and small fowl. It works great and it can fold up or collapse when you need to store it away. I have two other cones but they are not foldable so they are always outside in the rain and elements. Its not a big deal but if you wanted to clean up your space I think its great to have this option.I actually like this so much I did get a second one since at some times of the year I do process more birds at a time.Overall im very happy with this cone and I enjoy using it.

I have other killing cones that I've used for a couple of seasons. Those cones are nowhere near as heavy duty as this one! The metal is thick and the finish seems pretty solid. This cone comes un-assembled, and it's no big deal at all to put it together. I like that I can take the cone apart for really deep cleaning at the end of a harvest. Since this is a large and heavy-duty cone, I have no doubt that this cone will stand up to any Cornish Cross that I can put in it! It's no more expensive than smaller, lighter-duty cones that I own, so this cone is definitely a great value for money.

I was thinking this may be to small when I order it but the size is good, no problem with large rooster or the smaller hens. The metal is thick enough and has a nice protective coating.

This is a nice, large killing cone I got for processing bigger birds like ducks. It comes in 4 pieces that you attach together with screws. Once assembled, it’s sturdy and well made. It works great and is a good addition for anyone handling larger fowl. Definitely worth it!

Great for processing your mid-sized poultry at home. Use for light to medium sized chickens, light breed ducks and larger game fowl. (Use a large version for heavy breed chickens, medium breed ducks, small turkeys and guinea fowl and an XL for geese and large turkeys. Small cones for bantam chickens and bantam ducks and XS for small gamebirds like quail.) This item is easy to assemble, a great value, good size for most users, functional and easy to clean. I think the sharpness is more related to the tool used to dispatch your fowl and not necessarily the cone itself.
