Working Principle
When the motor starts up, it has to overcome its inertia and the reaction force of the load. Therefore, it needs large current and torque when the motor starts up. When turn to normal, in order to save energy, large torque and need a drop, add a set of auxiliary to motor coil, work only at boot time, normal after it is disconnected, the PTC thermistor series auxiliary coil at startup, starts the PTC thermistor into the high impedance state to cut off the secondary coil, just can achieve the effect.

About a year ago, I spent a lot more money on an allegedly OE "Jahwa" part for my kitchen side by side Samsung fridge. The relay fixed my problem but eventually failed open and the compressor would try to run constantly. I had wisely purchased a spare relay - but also purchased this two pack as well. I tried this out and my fridge has been back to normal for the past 2 weeks. Compressor runs occasionally like it should, fridge maintains 0 degrees on freezer side and 38 on fridge side. Very happy!

Our mini fridge stopped working. We immediately looked at YouTube videos to see if it was repairable. We found videos showing a quick fix with this compressor relay. It worked like a charm and still works. Saving the landfill one mini fridge at a time.
