I really like the bigger pot. The programming is easier. Saves time cooking. I do like my gadgets.

WHEN I OPEN THE BOX, I FOUND THAT THE MEASURING CUP WAS BROKEN. I AM VERY SURE THAT THE BROKEN CUP WAS PLACED IN THE BOX WITH. I DO FIND THAT THE INSTRUCTIONS CAN BE A MORE CLEAR.

I had a 12 quart before and thought I could downsize. I was wrong. But it was hard to find a 12qt from the brands I knew so I took a chance on this one. The Pressure Cooker is large and beautiful. I was impressed with the lid that had an easy lock/unlock feature. It goes to pressure quickly and functions smoothy. I definitely like the design and sturdy build of this pressure cooker over the instant pot which I recently purchased. Highly recommended.

As you can see, this pressure cooker is pretty large! I usually like to cook my food in bulk so I was excited when I found this 12 qt machine. I already like the look of it and the ease of use. I usually just use the pressure cooked time function and I don't really use the presets but I might play around with the presets just to see what happens.

I use this for chicken soup and it makes 8 quarts of broth! Very easy to use. 2 things I have noticed that would improve this pressure cooker would be to have an all stainless steel insert vs. the non-stick. Stainless steel would be healthier. Also, the timer lights could be brighter. It is hard to read - I have to cup my hand over the display to read the numbers. Other than that, I've used the pressure cooker a handful of times now and I love it!

Since you can only pressure cook at about 2/3’s full in any pressure cooker, we went with the 12qt and it’s perfect. Had an old 8qt crockpot that died and this pressure cooker has about the same countertop footprint so we couldn’t be happier. Full New England Boiled dinner was ready to eat in around an hour and was as tender and juicy as it would be if it boiled all day. High speed Venison stew is next on the menu. If I had to mention a down side, it would be the natural pressure release being a little slow…but if you plan ahead by accounting for an extra 20 minute wait for the natural pressure release to finish it’s a non issue

I love my Mega Chef pressure cooker. I've made all types of soup, stews, and even gumbo with it. Cooking tough cuts of meats is really easy. I literally cooked oxtail in about 30 minutes and they fell off the bone. Highly recommend for large families!!!

It worked good to begin now a found a small rubber piece that looks like it goes around a metal pin the turn the pressure on once it heats up, I guess. But now I have to retire it after 4 uses. It is not safe and will not function properly. Falling apart!
