This item works perfectly now I can pull up anywhere turn ignition off leave the keys and not worry about my car because you can't start it without the code

How you solved the problem is more important than the problem itself. These guys excelled the customer service. Fast response, they send me the part need it for the installation overnight and now it works perfect. Thanks and we will buy more for the other cars.

Concept is great but poor design. The relay that disables the starter is energized while ignition is off. This along with the blinking light runs your battery down after a few days. Ideally the relay should energize only when ignition is on and car is in use. This would prevent battery from running down so fast. I removed from car and wil not be using due to this.

Instructions aren't detailed enough. Wire not provided. Non specific per car gender. Lacks details for hobbiest to understand a simple installation. Not a particularly quality item.

Cher O.My new Megatronix Car Immobilizer Security System works at least as well as expected. After I had it installed, my car is harder to steal. The keypad lights up so I can see it in the dark, and it has an indicator light that goes on when I enter the correct 4-digit code so that I know I can now start my car. Enter the wrong code and the ignition won't work. It also has a switch I can set to keep the ignition working (valet mode) in case someone else needs to drive the car. All in all I am very happy with it. Mission accomplished.

I installed the keypad very easy and works wonderfull with the starter system, the only problem is the security, this is not a security device because is very easy to override with a jumper, you need to protec very well the circuit system to prevent manipulation of others, but in general if you wanted for fun and for to have something different in your car this device is for you.

I tailgate every weekend and have to leave my keys in the ignition and I always feel I have to stick close to my vehicle so it doesn't get stolen. However, this solved my problem quickly. It only took me 20 minutes to install and gives me the peace of mind everywhere I go. I even leave the keys in my ignition when I run into the gas station to grab a drink. It does come preset with a factory code so don't plan on making your own.
