This works fine. but be aware that the middle piece is just a rubber seat. If you want to mount something heavy on a cymbal stand that just happen to have a microphone stand thread, this is NOT the thing you want to use. It will hold a microphone just fine, but nothing heavy.

This product did the job of interfacing between an old Gibraltar stand and a microphone. Fit was great. The issue was the first time the singer grabbed the mic, the rubber bellow the mic end broke. Couldn't even use it once.
