How it Works?
Triple-step Grinding Technology

Decent way to save a couple bucks from the big box stores. I had a 20 year old disposal that finally stopped working. Decided I would give this disposal a shot, and I’m glad I did. Install was easy, as I was just replacing a similar unit.Performance is adequate, dispose your table scraps down the drain and it works well at chopping it up and sending it on its way.It’s fairly quiet compared to my original one.Happy with the order, 5/5As always, I will update my review in the future if my opinion on the product changes.~J

I installed this garbage disposal in my upstairs kitchen, and I have not looked back. This thing puts my other garbage disposal downstairs to shame. It's quite powerful and was very simple to install. Came with everything I needed to make it look great and it provides a function. ality in my upstairs kitchen.

I ordered this MEJE 3/4 HP garbage disposal to upgrade my kitchen. It is a larger unit than I imagined, so make sure you check the measurements first and have enough space under your sink. Also make sure you have grounded power outlets under your sink and a switch above the counter to turn it on and off, otherwise I wouldn't recommend this. The install was very extensive but simple in my opinion - a process that would seem to be fast (in my mind) actually took a few hours for me at least, due to 2 trips to Home Depot to get plumbers putty, pvc cement and piping, and making sure everything was done properly. Every home could be different so I don't know if everyone will need the pipes, and it also depends on what you already have - if you are replacing a current disposal or not. If you are not a DIYer then it may be wise to get someone to install it for you, who knows what they're doing but overall it is simple, just extensive. I read the manual through twice before deciding I needed to watch some youtube videos first and that helped a lot. The instructions in the install manual are mostly clear, other than spacing/typing issues and otherwise easy to understand. It's thorough but watching YT videos takes the stress and any other questions away. Under operation, it makes noise but isn't overly loud. It's very effective at and is overall an upgrade for my kitchen as it cuts down on "green bin" waste.

My old garbage disposal came with the house. So who knows how old it is. 15+ years old. It was getting rusty and eating itself.Swapping this out wasn't the easiest thing in the world, but it actually went fairly smoothly.Got it swapped out and hooked up without too much trouble.Now it runs nice an smoothly again.
