The blocks are great for learning letters. I love how it has capital letters on one side and lowercase on the other with two pictures of things that start with the letter. My son love love loves trucks and hasn't stopped playing with it yet today. He even brought it to his room for nap time to sit on his dresser. It's a nice size so not too big and bulky. My 15 month old also likes to play with it by practicing putting the blocks on the truck. Today we even spelled words together.

My toddler loves pushing the truck around and it rolls smoothly. It is a good toy even though it has some wear and tear from playing it. The paint on the blocks chipped and there is a crack on the front of the truck.

Very good gifting option. Kids up to 5 years can play not just sequentially putting it but also it helps to place simple 3/4 letters’ word. Highly recommended!

Great little wooden toy truck for young children. Truck and trailer are all wood, and the blocks are all wood also. High quality little toy that could easily become an heirloom item should you want to pass it down.

I love Doug and Melissa toys but this has to be one of my sons absolute favorites! What a great use of Alphabet blocks that get dumped out of those wagons or are hidden away in a toy bin with a letter always missing. My ABC obsessed son plays with this so much! we even take it in the car and on trips since they all fit on the pegs of the trailer we know instantly if a letter is missing and look for it. Great quality and paint. The letters are raised on the blocks and and then painted over in case anyone was wondering;)

This toy is just as you'd expect from Melissa and Doug. It's solid wood, very colorful and fun for my 20 month old to play with. The only feature that I dont like is that the wooden pegs that the blocks slide onto come out of the holes in the truck bed. I think its supposed to be like that, but its such a pain in the rear to pick them up all the time (they come out easily) that my babysitter actually tried gluing them into the truck bed :-) It didnt work, they still come out.

Love this Melissa and Doug gem. A great alternative to plain ABC blocks as they have a fun truck to stack them on. The only thing I wish was different was the style of blocks.....I wish they had the exact same letters AND numbers setup as the regular other Melissa and Doug blocks. These only contain letters :(This set is a must have though for any toddler!! At 19 months old my son started learning his alphabet thanks to these. By 23 months old he could read his entire alphabet (both in order and at random) and could sing his ABC's thanks to his interest in these blocks. He would hold up whichever letter he wanted me to read to him and he repeated as he went through them all.
