It is too early in the year to try this on any actual melons but they seem sturdy and well made. I want to try training my melons to grow over a trellis this year so hammocks like this are a necessity.

A little early in the season so I don't have any melons yet but so far they seem sturdy and well-made. I like that it comes with zip ties to help hold the fruit onto the support instead of relying on knots. I will update when I have fruit big enough to need them.

These are well made. The design will allow for various sizes of melon. The cord is strong. It is also very soft so it doesn'tdamage the melon.. The green is very bright! Of course that means it is easy to see amidst the vines.I have a wire trellis in a hydroponic dwc system. It is easy to attach to the wire using hooks, clips, string or just tying the ends together through the wire. This makes it easy to move if needed also.

These melon nets are perfect for giving support to canteloupes, but I love to use them for a completely different reason. I hang a cabbage head or half a watermelon in them for my chickens to peck at! The hens love playing tetherball with a cabbage, or pecking at the inside of melons hung with the cut side facing down. I suspend it from the rafters in their run and let them go to town.I used tomato cages to contain my canteloupes last year, and these will be perfect to give support to the fruit as it grows. These slings will keep canteloupes off the ground, and it keeps the vine from pulling away from the fruit too early.

Large, strong netting capable of securely holding a variety of sized melons from medium to large. decent value in price as well. Can't go wrong.
