An outstanding bit of kit. I'm a long time user of Membrane Solutions products under 'in the field' conditions and they have never disappointed. This is a very nice quality, thick and durable plastic water bottle with an easy to read fill line indicator to prevent overflow. The cap is large and easy to manipulate, leak proof and has a sculpted two finger carry ring. The hinge is a durable stainless steel rod and the mouthpiece is removable for cleaning, which I really appreciate.It's so much nicer than the bottle it's replacing. I don't want to mention any competitors names (that begins with an 'S' and ends in an 'r'), but it's a massive step up from the odd shaped, somewhat cheap plastic filter bottle I've been using. The one with the floppy filter that bangs around inside and the cheesy silicone straw. ;)The important bit. Water tastes amazing, it has a good flow rate and the price is even more affordable than the one I've been using. Removing the filters it's perfectly useable as a standard water bottle as well.One feature I didn't notice being mentioned in the item description is a rotatable ring with an arrow indicator on the ACF filter. It allows you to select the number of the month the filter is first put into use to better indicate duration of use (see photo). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

It's easy enough to drink through, if your expectations are right. Others have mentioned that it's hard to drink through it... They likely aren't patient enough for the water to come through the filter.Assembly is easy and common sense.This seems to be a quality product. The company makes a LOT of filter devices. It's very well thought out.We aren't to drink the first two sips or so, but... It still does have a bit of a (new container) odd taste to me.I've only used it a couple of times. I did buy it in case of emergency but also plan to use it for tap water sources when on trips.

Ordered this: Membrane Solutions C3 Filtered Water Bottle, 36oz BPA-Free - thinking I would use it while backpacking. After examining testing and examining the product, I think there are better lighter weight filtration methods for backpacking and that this product would shine in other applications.The product came in a branded box with excellent instructions. Filters are individually wrapped and again good quality. Does not change the taste and there is not excessive resistance when using the bottle. Much easier than the straw solutions where you really have to suck. The bottle itself is heavy and well made. Especially the cap design and function. I dropped it on the tile and it easily survived... that was an accident. This would be great for day hikes, storing in a vehicle survival kit or any use scenario where weight is less of a concern... you are looking for something easy to use, well made and functional. If you have the space I prefer this method of filtration to a straw... so much easier to fill the bottle with clean water than try to suck the water out of another reservoir. So again size vs ease of use and function.In my opinion this brand makes excellent filter products and I have been using their RO filters for years. I am going to put it in my vehicle car kit, replacing the Nalgene bottle that is in there with this multi function bottle.

Membrane Solutions C3 Filtered Water Bottle, 36oz BPA-Free Bottle with Replaceable ACF+UF Filter Cartridge, Portable Water Filter, Travel, Hiking & Camping for Clean Drinking Water Anywhere. This arrived quickly after ordering. It was here within 3 days. It arrived in its own box with a set of clear instructions on how to use this properly. I purchased mine for if there is ever an emergency situation with my water supply. So I have not used it yet. However all the components were in the box as stated in the listing. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. This should be a very easy straightforward item to use. It is made of durable material that should not crack or shatter easily. It should function exactly as expected. And it is of a good size. I am happy with my order.

This water bottle is great to bring with you camping or backpacking! Now, you still want to be carful of what water sources you use this bottle for, but if you are backpac king and come across a lake or a flowing river, this bottle will give you clean water to drink! Doesn't leak, even when it was chucked in my backpack for hours on end, which is very nice. There are quite a few instructions for how to care for the filter part, so make sure you read the instructions carefully.Overall this is a great water bottle choice, and I would highly recommend!

Sturdy, good materials and easy to use. This is a larger size than my other cheaper water bottles and that is a good thing. Quick hydration in any situation where you want to be sure you have clean water or just take the taste and chemicals out of city water.
