I had bought a lovely lantern for a friend a couple of months ago in white. I was looking for one in black for a neighbor that lost his wife. This lantern is a lot smaller than my other lantern and was only a couple of dollars less. Spend the extra, make sure you check the measurements. This just looks cheaper and not and nice.

I have ordered four of these over the past year for people who have lost a loved one. Each person who has received it, loves the lantern and is so touched by the sentiment written on the pane. The light stays on in remembrance of their loved one and has a timer option to turn off automatically. I’m sure I will be buying more of these to comfort those who are grieving.
