I ordered 7" inseam, 30" waist, size small board shorts. I got the shorter version with a 5" inseam and a 32" waist. They do have an inside the waist drawstring so I guess I'll tighten them up with that. They are nice looking, and have a stretchy, spandex-y brief built in. I'm just disappointed I didn't get the size I ordered.

These mid-length trunks work well as shorts, too. They've got a built-in liner for securing the privates, but they've also got two side pockets, which is why they make good shorts.Besides that, they're well-sewn, the elastic waistband would be very forgiving for somebody with some midsection spread, and the drawstring exit holes are on the INSIDE, which makes them look like shorts do. Between that inside spot for the drawstring and the fact it's the ideal length (not one of those absurdly long strings that has to be cut off to wear the things), they look neat as shorts.The fabric's got a polyester feel to it would be the only downside, but I imagine they'd dry really fast out of the pool.Due to the good price for these as of March 2025, around $7.50 each, I'm ranking these a 5 for both the acceptable quality and the good dollar value.

With a 31" waist I have a hard time finding shorts and pants that fit properly. Small size can be too tight and mediums are too baggy. My current swim suits are much too baggy. That includes the small size Speedo.These swim suits looked promising. And going for a bargain price I decided to order them. Since I'm often out for hours under circumstances that I might be in the water, I prefer pockets--decent pockets. Including a back pocket. Supposedly these suits had that. Well, the front pockets are nice, but there is no back pocket, in spite of what the product listing shows. Two stars off for that. I'll really miss that pocket. Other than that, these are great shorts. The small size fits my slim waist nicely, with plenty of room, but not baggy at all. Fabric is comfortable.

The product description said that the trunks have a back pocket. They don’t.

These swim trunks are crafted with quality in mind. The fabric is both soft and flexible, and I really appreciate the 5" inseam for a contemporary style and fit. They dry quickly, and the side pockets are a nice touch. They resemble regular shorts quite a bit, making them versatile for dual use.All in all, these are fantastic swim trunks.

Very stylish and well-made! However, tragically didn't fit my large hips. Less of an item problem and more of a me problem.
