A few buttons have fallen off with four months use, and the pockets are sewn shut with a couple of stitches. It snipped them, and it was fine.

Always wanted this style of coat. Hard to get one that fits the shoulders and the stomach of an aging old guy, especially for this price! Not cold enough for it yet, but I can see this being my go to winter coat (replacing my Carhart of 20 plus years) for more nicer appearance options (teacher) in the future.

I had to buy this to see if it really was a 4x at this price. I really expected to get a kids coat or a large claiming to be a 4x. But no, this really is a men's 4x. In fact it's on the roomy side for me. You can definitely tell it's not the best quality coat, polyester doesn't feel the nicest and it doesn't have the same weight that a wool coat would have so it doesn't quite look or move the same way a more expensive pea coat would. But for my purposes, I think it looks perfectly fine. At first I thought it didn't have pockets, but it actually does, they're just sewn shut. I'm sure there's a reason for that, but I'd rather have pockets so I just cut them open and they work just fine once opened. There's also an inside breast pocket, which is nice. So yeah, if you're a big guy looking for a budget coat that looks a little nicer, I think this is a good choice.

When I purchased this coat I expected it to be just a "basic" coat to use for Winter. It has exceeded my expectations. I am a budget-shopper. So, when I saw that I could get a Peacoat for the low price that it was being sold for on Amazon, I was a little skeptic at first... When you shop online or go into stores, a Peacoat usually starts between $150-$200 in price. This one was less than $50... BUT it is an awesome coat! I would assume that there is no mark-up prices, because it is sold direct versus being sold in a shopping mall. You get the best for an affordable price.

Like many other reviews, I was like, "what's the catch", but I can say that this jacket exceeds expectations. It DOES fit as expected, and is actually a pretty heavy weight jacket. It has a nice lining. Yes, it is not wool, but I think it will do nicely. The inside pocket was not sewn shut, but the two outside pockets were. That was easily enough rectified. For the price, you cannot go wrong.

There was no size chart, and no other sizes left when I got this. Last one, claiming size 3x and no further info. Saw others' reviews and the $25 price and decided to take the risk. Shockingly, it seems decent quality and not a total waste of money. Decent weight/thickness; heavy enough it actually counts as a coat for one thing- I envy people who don't live in the Northeast and call a hooded sweatshirt a jacket. It's not going to be warm enough for the 30 below zero and horrible windchill on top of that winter days, but I have a puff coat for that. The warmer winter weather this should be perfect for. It's actually made for American sizing too, which was a pleasant surprise; (before 1994, when everything really started being made in China and other tiny people countries, what's now tagged an XL used to be tagged an M, and what was tagged an XL back then is now a 3X or 4X.) This is roomy and fits like a real American size; chest/waist is around 60 inches. I'm short, 5'5 and a woman, so it's long on me; probably perfect length for a man. (women's clothes are too thin & cheaply made, and too expensive especially in larger sizes, so I tend to get mostly guys clothes so it'll be heavier weight/better quality, and baggy loose fitting like I need for my numerous health issues.) For not real wool, this seems pretty close; if I didn't know it wasn't wool I would think it is. Very impressed! if Amazon gets more of these, who knows if they'll be the same as this one was; price will likely go way up, and quality will likely go way down like with everything else... but this one was amazing, especially for the price.

I ordered this jacket as I had previously gotten one form JcPenney and LOVED it. BEST. COAT. EVER. So then I ordered this one and find they changed the design sot hat the outer pockets are fake. There is only one functional pocket (inside breast pocket). I hate it. First of all, the fact that women have to deal with this in clothing is BUNK. Now men's fashion has fake pockets too? BOO! Fix it! I hate it!
