Worked very well for hiding some unwanted love handles at a recent wedding i attended. Was snug enough to hold everything in place without being to constricting and limiting movement. How hard is it to put these shorts on and get them positioned correctly? Easier than you would think. There is some pulling and twisting involved that anyone can do. These shorts can be stretched a lot, I mean a lot, which is a big factor in helping anyone and everyone to put them on and to position them correctly. Once the shorts are on, they will stay where you positioned them. The very top of the shorts will not roll because they have 4 "steel bones" sewn into them. The steel bones do not affect, or take away from, the comfort level of the shorts. They do not pinch, or bite into, your skin. These shorts work great on my love handles, upper thighs, and inner thighs. I was, still am, impressed by how good they work on my love handles. With these shorts on, I am able to wear a couple of shirts that fit a little snug. My self-esteem and my ego get a little boost when my family and friends compliment my looks, which I credit these shorts for!! Going to the bathroom--it can be done, as long as you just need to pee. There is a hole in the 3D pouch that is quick and easy to get to and to get through when you need to pee. If you have to poop, there is no hole, flap, etc., so you would have to take the shorts completely off. These shorts are very well made. The quality is very good. They have extra stitches, wide stitches, in the high stress areas and the high stretch areas. If you are looking for compression shorts that actually compress, these do just that.
