If that was an extra large jacket then I must have eaten the menu items at Outback. Funny, I don't recall gaining that much weight and my other jackets still fit perfect so it must not be me. If the other sizes are like this then I suggest that if you order an XL if you are 130lbs. Even then you may have to breath out.

Brightly colored weatherproof light jacket with reflective elements and limited pocket space. I like the material a lot - a little bit thicker and softer than most rain jackets. Still feels like a dome tent but with a little bit of weight and softness to it. But it's all downhill from there - cheap-feeling plastic snaps. Only one small zippered pocket and two flap closure pockets on the side that look like a recipe for losing your stuff. The biggest flaw in this jacket is the unusual sizing. I ordered a size L, and received an item labeled "EU L" which is usually closer to a US medium. And even for a US medium it's a little on the small side - tight in the chest and shoulders and barely falls to my waist. Rain jackets should run long and have plenty of room to accommodate layers underneath - if I had it to do over again I'd probably order a 2XL vs. the L that I normally wear. All of that for a price that's not that much lower than the name brands. If I shop sales I can pick up a decent, properly sized rain jacket from REI or Cotopaxi for about the same price. It's not a terrible jacket, all things considered, but you've got better options.

This was a little snug - I was expecting a little looser so I could put a sweat and a layer underneath. However it is sturdy and does the job as intended.

Well, the first negative, is I can't even get this jacket on. It is so small. I ordered a 3xl and it is the size of about a medium. The tag says EU 3XL and certainly not a US 3xl.Even if I could get the jacket on, it isn't made very well. First there are a couple tiny holes in the inner lining. Also one of the pockets is only half stitched meaning I can get my hand through to the inside. The jacket otherwise seems to be waterproof and I also like that it has a detachable hood. It also has a back pocket which is nice for running or walking.Just watch the sizing very closely on this one!

I ordered this for my bike commute. I have been cycling for years now and understand that things in the cycling world fit a little small. I generally wear an XL shirt, or in some cases a 2XL. I ordered this in a 3XL hoping to get a little extra room and I was surprised when I was off by several sizes. My wife who wears a women's medium could barely get the zipper to clasp. The jacket is nice, its VERY light and has reflective parts on it making it perfect for a bike commuter like me. Its also not lined with anything which is great since I was looking for something to use for days where its 30-40f in the morning and 60-70f when I go home. Its great to have a light jacket to toss in my backback and this would work perfect. Its just too bad I can't wear it.If you are looking at this, go down at least 2 whole sizes. If you like a slightly looser fit, I would even say go down 3.

I spend a lot of time in the northern wilderness and have a lot of outdoor apparel. During the warmer months it is pretty much mandatory to have a quality, lightweight rain jacket. I wasn't sure what to expect from this product, but I'm happy to report that it is quite nice and an excellent value for the price. For reference, I am 6'1, 190 lbs, and athletic and ordered a large. I first tried this on with a sweatshirt under it since I usually want some insulation when I'm getting rained upon! The jacket fit great, and did not restrict my movement more than expected. This jacket includes a hood that is integrated with snaps along the collar. That is okay, though I prefer a hood that I can fold up into a compartment in the collar so I know it's always there! This one will pretty much have to live on the jacket or I will probably lose it.The vendor states that the outer fabric is "pongee." Now, I haven't been to China in a minute, but I thought that was woven from silk - and this def isn't a silk jacket! It's probably safe to say that the term is used for other materials. (I'm just not going to spend any time figuring that out!) The shell is probably polyester, but that's just a guess. What I can say is that it is very lightweight and should provide a good barrier to water. FYI, almost any of these fabrics once saturated allow some amount of water to pass. If you don't like that you'll need to find a rubber suit...There are plenty of pockets and even some vents which are all great. The one potential problem that I have seen so far is that the zipper gets a little stuck when you're pulling on it. It needs two hands and some fiddling to get it moving. Hopefully some zipper lube will help with that, but I do wonder how long it will last. That said, this is the kind of garment that I will only wear specifically when it's raining or about to rain, so the longevity of the zipper doesn't seem to be a huge concern. This will very likely take up residence in my bike pack and I don't ride in the rain too often!I have several other rain jackets that were much more expensive, but this one gets very close in quality and at a much more attractive price. I probably wouldn't take this up a mountain, but for casual wear and protection from (sporadic) rain, I think this is an excellent value. I'm not looking forward to needing it but glad I have it!

I think if this rain jacket was more than $40, I would have more issues with it, such as the zipper being just decent, but not buttery smooth as how I'd like my zippers to be. But at $33, it's very lightweight, the large size that I got for review fits as expected (maybe even half a size too big, but since it's a jacket meant to be worn loose, that's fine for me), and the fabric is definitely rain-proof. I like that the hood is detachable, so you can use this as a windbreaker as well when just wearing it during not rainy season. It's thin, and flexible to be stuffed into a backpack or sports bag as insurance for a rainy day. I have included photos to show you how it looks like in real life.
