Absolutely love this leash. I had slip lead leashes for a decade but needed to switch to a clip leash. This has great leather accents. Good durability and thickness. I would buy again in the future.

Been using for a few months now with a German Shepherd. It's a simple leash but decent quality. Solid clasp but note the clasp is gold in color. Seems to be a quality rope, no fraying yet. Looks as shown in pics.

This is very comfortable and is durable. Great for my large dog, it has almost a stretch to it so if she pulls it doesn't yank me as badly as other leashes. Round design also helps with a comfortable grip.

I LOVE this leash - our mini poodle is 15 lbs and I've always wanted a stylish rope leash but so often they are too heavy. This one is a lightweight nylon type rope and it's FAB. Super cute, 3/4 inch size I wanted. Great color choices! 10/10

I love all the color choices offered but if you're looking for something durable and long-lasting, this may not be the best choice for you. We've had it for a little over a week now and it's starting to show signs of wear. However, for the price, I didn't expect it to last forever.

Love this leash! Feels already broke in! Just wish the picture would have shown the blue & white color of the leash in the picture of the item. I was hoping for purple and white but should have looked at the description better.

i love this leash. it's so much better than the regular flat nylon leashes. the rope is comfortable to hold and doesn't burn if the dog pulls. the color (kelly green) looks awesome in person. the leather accents are very nice, they seem high quality. the brass clip is heavy and strong. the only minor complaint is the rope had a few snags on it, so hopefully they won't worsen over time.

First off, there's a life time warranty on Mendota leashes. They recommend dog's over 50 lbs use the thicker leash (1/2 inch) which has a safety stitch in it. If anything happens and the leash doesn't work they will replace it and mail it to you for free. I had one leash break and they sent me the next size up (my dog is 48lbs and I had her on the smaller leash) with the safety stitch. No questions asked, just helped me out. Aside from being an awesome company, the leashes are soft on your hands and sturdy. They won't wear your hands down if your dog pulls. They look very nice. Easy to clean. Easy to use. I have this leash in the blue color and in the "woodlands" color. They are very inexpensive and very high quality. I wouldn't recommend any leash over the Mendota products. The seller I went with, curleegirl, was awesome and mailed my order right away. I got it almost next day and the shipping was free. Highly recommend product and seller.
