This is a really fun shirt. I ordered a small for my husband (his usual size) and it fits quite well. The buttonholes were kind of tight the first few times getting the buttons through, but I think that’s a good sign that they won’t get too loose. A few of the higher button holes are under the collar lacing, so you have to look for them, but that’s so they don’t show when the shirt is on.On my husband, the sleeves were a bit long and the neck was too tight, but these are standard complaints we have when buying him a standard-sized, not specific-sized shirt. In my opinion, this shirt is made to the general standards that one would expect for a costume shirt and will fit most people true to size.This shirt is dry clean only, though, so DO NOT wash it or it will likely shrink. This also makes me concerned about ironing it, since I’d usually use a steam setting to get out the wrinkles, but I don’t want to risk shrinking it.

I think there needs to be some form of quality control. While the shirt looks like what's presented in the pictures, when I took it out of the bag to try on, one of the buttons fell right off. There also was a broken piece of lace that wasn't attached to anything. The shirt is definitely made for someone with broader shoulders, so if you have scrawny arms or are slim, it will feel too big on you. Mind you, the size I received is a SMALL.

Decent quality. Fit well (but that's obviously a personal thing if it will fit you).I think it's a great shirt to wear for any old-tyme period costume. Bought it for a specific party but I'm planning on wearing it again sometime.

Great quality for this pricepoint, nice bright white color, laundered well on delicate cycle. I did air dry, as I wasn't sure how well it would hold up to heat, it dried fairly quickly as the fabric is thin and flowy. Very pleased with this product.
