I absolutely loved this product. High quality leather. Heavy jacket.. my only downside is I was too big for the arms.. I ordered correct size but had to return because I have large arms.. not the company fault at all.. great jacket for the value. If the arms were larger I would purchase another

The design is spot on, but the comfort is not there. It is a very stiff leather coat and uncomfortable to wear. Not sure what I need to do to soften it up. Haven't received any directions to modify it's comfort.

Size M was a little long in the sleeves for me, 6'1" 180 lbs. It is real leather, and has been distressed/antiqued for the costume's effect, but the color was not as pictured. It was a little too bright (orangey) for what I had envisioned. Also, the leather was super shiny all over, while I was hoping for more of a "faded" and worn matte finish. I suppose these variations are normal for real leather, but it wasn't the right look for my costume.

This Craftnik Mens Raider Of The Lost Jones Leather Jacket – Vintage Harrison Indiana Leather Jacket – Distressed Leather Jacket is a GREAT leather jacket, that looks a LOT like the Real Thing.Nice leather too!I have one of the originals made by a company in England..It was gift, as those are super expensive, many, many times the price of this jacket. And yes, some minor subtle things are nicer, better in that $800 jacket. But you really couldn't tell unless you examined them carefully side by side (the English version is nice leather, but this jacket is still nice leather anyway).

When I first picked this up, I was struck by how light this jacket was to pick up. I was unconsciously comparing it to another leather jacket that I wore for a long time.I started out thinking that the weight was a bad point. But as I wore it inside and outside, I began to understand just how nice the jacket was. It was light enough to not be uncomfortable while inside the house. Yet, outside it was just what I needed to stay warm in the 60 degree weather there. It seems particularly well put together. I believe that it will stand some abuse. (Maybe even stand up to the scrapes and stress of staying ahead of a giant boulder?)The sleeves were a bit long for me. But it was a 4X size.On the subject of size, my button up heavy cotton shirts fit me loosely at size 3XL.I measured my chest at 1" over the largest size on the chart included in the listing. This caused me to order a 4X size of the jacket. My chest fit the chest of the jacket. On the other hand my hips were a tight fit. (See the pictures.)A man with a more classic male build would probably have been comfortable. ... I wasn't.Initially I thought that I could cut the threads at the bottom of the jacket where the straps appear to hold it together to give me more freedom there. Unfortunately for me, the very good seams and the fact that the lining was tied into the area that I had planned to separate made it too complicated to apply my fix.So it is a very well made, good looking jacket that is designed for a guy that is "broad at shoulder and narrow at the hip" as Tennessee Earnie Ford once sang about "Big John".This is a great jacket if you are classicly built.Unfortunately, that's not me.

For reference to this review, I'm 6'0" 175lbs athletic build and size Large appears to fit pretty well for a leather jacket. If you are a fan of Indiana Jones, this jacket may be for you. If you are a fan of very distressed and stiff leather jackets, this jacket may be for you. I am neither a fan of the movies (never seen them) and I never wear the leather jackets I do own since I stopped riding motorcycles. However, let's first start with the positives. The jacket looks very detailed and attempts to look like the jacket worn in the movie. It definitely has the distressed look that reminds me of the popularity of distressed jeans years ago. It looks like care went into the lining and the stitching on the outside. The fit is pretty good as well. Some negatives include that this is definitely not a soft leather jacket. I am not sure how long it must be broken in and if that will make this more soft and comfortable overall. During the manufacturing process, it looks like there is some substance that is applied to the leather. I hope during wear, this doesn't rub off on clothing or car seats. I have had this type of leather on belts before and it left stains on my jeans. Finally, when and what occasion would warrant wearing this jacket? I guess for a casual fall or mild winter night, this jacket might provide some warmth. You'd really have to be picky on the outfit though because while this look might work in the movies, it may look out of place today unless you have shoes and jeans to match. I'd probably stick with a t-shirt or long-sleeve tee because anything with a collar may make everything uncomfortable.Overall, a decent leather jacket inspired by the popular movie franchise.
