Based on the product photos, I was expecting more of a sage green color, but the actual color is more of a greenish tan or taupe.I like the fabric though, it has some heft and the waffle print makes it breathable and gives it some stretch, but it’s still smooth and comfortable.The medium size I ordered fits well and the overall finish of the shorts and shirt is great, the shirt could be worn by itself with regular shorts, but the shorts in this set definitely look like pajama shorts or athleisure wear.

The shorts are great, but the shirt fits smaller than anticipated. It's a bit short. The material is nice, it's thick and not see through at all, even with being white. It's very comfortable, but I'll probably only wear the shirt around the house since it's a bit short. For reference, I am 5'9.

Men's Short Sets 2 Piece Outfit★★★★★ (5.0 Stars!)Terrific quality two-fer that can be used paired as a set, or separately, either of which, T-shirt or shorts, can be nicely matched with almost all casual wear in the closet.Comfortably fits true to size, not too tight or too loose, designed with a left breast pocket, the outfit's T-shirt is polo shirt quality made of waffle textured fabric, the type invariably used in good golf or polo shirts. Pairs nicely with slacks, jeans or shorts, even elegant enough under a blazer i.e. for air travel. Paired it with my favorite golf shorts, put to the test in a quick par-3 round. Stretches well for that a full swing, breathable with no visible armpit or back stains after a few hours of active use. The set's pair of shorts are more casual, gartered waistband and string-tied allows for that loose fit. Two front pockets are deep enough for a cell phone, keys, but it lacks back pockets where men usually keep their wallets. Good for mall or beach strolling, walks and short hikes. Good for tennis with pockets deep enough to hold a spare ball. Not as good for golf with absence of back pockets, both of which are usually used separately for a scorecard and a golf glove. Again, the pair of shorts are versatile and pairs with almost any casual upper wear.Overall, good value for a quality, versatile shorts /T-shirt set.

I love this set. It's a true for size for both items. Best comfortable no matter how you decide to wear them either going out or relaxing at home. Reasonably priced for the quality of the fabric and i think it is breathable. I'm truly happy with this set and got a few complements as well and immediately referred where to get the set.

Very comfortable. Soft. Lightweight. Waist doesn't roll or migrate. Falls well on a bigger guy. Ok to wear out and about or just around the house. Looks put together. Good value for a 2 piece set.

Review of the Black, 3X-Large:The set, both the shorts and the short sleeve T-shirt, run true to size. The material is soft and comfortable with a nice amount of stretch (due to the 5% spandex content). The shirt has a small chest pocket that I like for holding sunglasses or little items. The shorts have nice deep pockets so I don't worry about my keys or wallet slipping out. tThe fabric has a waffle type texture that apparently allows air circulation, and was nice and cool even on the recent 80 degree day.

I’m always a bit concerned about fit when I order brands I haven’t worn previously. I tend to fit between two typical sizes so I have to study the size charts carefully. I did so and in my case went with the larger size on this one. That proved to be a perfect fit for me. But they probably run true to size for most individuals. I wore the set all day yesterday. I needed something casual and definitely comfortable but that had some style and a little flair to it. This was perfect. The fabric is soft, the neck line is wide and cut a bit differently to give a slightly more upscale look. Overall I truly enjoyed this outfit. The pocket does have some loose threads which I noticed later in the day. Because of the weave that gave me slight concern about these lasting over time. But only slight concern. I haven’t run them through the dryer yet so I can’t speak to questions of shrinkage. But so far these are keepers.

I just received this and I can say that I do like it. It fits true to size and as the other gentleman said, the pockets are very very deep, which can be handy for guys. I find the material a bit different. I don't think it's as breathable as it could be. I think it would be ideal for cooler evenings and but a little too warm for hot Florida weather where I live. Keep that in mind if you order. The material to me is sort of like a traditional pique, but has a bit of stretch to it The color is a very deep black which I really do like. I think they called it some sort of suit or something for the beach, that is not valid at all in my opinion it's a very nice set, which could be worn separately The shirt is crew neck which can be nice. I would recommend for more of a dressy look or you just want to wear it in your house that's up to you. I do have some concerns with the heat but I do recommend it.
