They are the stiffest soles I've ever had the displeasure of walking on. I took about 100 steps and started to experience decent pain in my shins. Walked about 1/4 mile to see if it would wear off, and it did not. Attempted to jog and the shin pain only worsened.

The shoes are EXTREMELY comfortable and feel amazing for running. I'm a heavier man with bad knees from the military and these shoes have helped me get back into the cardio I so desperately need. Highly recommend

Not great. Plastic-y bottom that clunks loudly on hard surfaces. Ended up buying a pair of Adidas running shoes on sale for the same price and dramatically better quality.
