Read reviews. The hat comes squished, UNFOTUNATELY. I steamed mine and got most of the wrinkles out. It's a crap shoot ordering cloths / hats etc. on-line. I ordered the large. My head is at the high end of large and the hat fits me almost perfectly. It looks very nice, just like the picture. Quality, I find to be VERY GOOD.Awesome hat.

This cheap hat looks like big money. It took a few minutes with some steam and has been perfect.

I'm not sure why companies smash the hats. I guess it's so the box is smaller. However it ended up shaped like the box. I had to steam it to return it to the proper shape. Good thing I have a sleeve ham. I guess you could stuff it with fabric if you don't have a ham. Also, Amazon recommend a large which was way too big. I'm returning it for a medium. I'll leave the ironing board out. Other than that, it seems to be a great quality hat. It looks good, too.Update: I got a smashed medium-sized. It steamed out well and fits perfectly. It wasn't too much work but I think it's silly to smash them. I do like the hat, though, so I guess it's ok.

Came in a 2 inch deep box, smashed down. If you're looking for something for hiking or fishing this might work but will still look funny. Definitely not for dressing up. It's kind of hard to tell from the pictures, but the holes on top are pretty big, kind of like a fishing hat.

My new fedora is comfortable, it looks good and i also get good compliments.I love that the size comes in sm, med, lrg, xlrg. Plus it has an ajustable cord inside to customize the fit.( that “one size fits all” often means “all but me”) the hat can be worn casual to semi-formal ( or even formal)Little to loose, lots to gain, do it, you’ll be glad you did. -> sid
