This is the 5th tube mask I have owned. We are huge into bass fishing and go rain or shine. We find ourselves out on the boat a lot when the wind is blowing like crazy. I have debilitating seasonal allergies so I rely on these tube masks to keep any debris blowing around from getting into my sinuses and lungs. Unfortunately the quality of this mask is not the best. The mesh material is very thin and the seam on the top and bottom of the mask was coming apart before I even had it out of the package.Aside from the quality there are some perks of this mask. There are many different awesome uses for it! There is the obvious face mask but being a female with long hair I often need a hair tie, this is flexible enough to wrap a tight pony tail. You can use this has a head band to stop sweat from beading down your face, dip it in cool water and wear it around your neck, and use it as a bandana on your head.*Disclaimer-I purchased this mask at a discounted price in exchange for an honest and unbiased review

I have a few of these type of fishing masks from different manufacturers and was looking for another to use during yard work. I received the mask quickly and it's quality does look good. It's comfortable and breathable when worn over my nose/mouth. I think it will suffice for my needs, but I don't think the fabric is the highest quality available, even at the price point.I wish there were a couple more color choices, but the blue isn't bad. My primary complaint is that all of the care/wear instructions are in Korean. I know it's made in Korea, but I would like it to have English instructions. I've used this quite a bit in the first days of owning it:-- under a helmet for low-angle hillside rope descending training as a folded-over headband to soak up and evaporate sweat in full sun in 96°F heat-- around the neck during hikes in full sun-- blocking the neck/upper neck from sun while kayaking in a no-shade 4 acre pond surrounded by chaparral/pasture land in early afternoon of a sunny day-- around the neck outside late at night while camping with cool breezes in ~45°F-- around neck while sleeping in the woods-- over mouth and nose while watching an up-close game of Gaga (basically dodgeball in a sand pit)-- headband-like over ears during a trip to the windiest location in the U.S. (Point Reyes Lighthouse on California coast) where cold winds gusted at 30+mph constantlyI've owned two similar tube bands from another company, that I generally use for all the purposes above and traveled with me to a few countries, but I wanted something that had UV protection and wicked a bit better. I'll be doing quite a bit of adventuring and training in higher temperatures for Search and Rescue. I also wanted UV protection for kayaking and while gardening and doing yard work throughout the week.This held up well in the first few days of use (see the list at the top). It's higher quality than my existing buff-like bands, which are basically just a tube of cloth with no stitching on the ends (the ends end up rolling up a bit sometimes). This "sun mask" has a mesh-like material with stitched ends that don't roll up as readily as my existing set. It went through a load in the wash yesterday and came out looking slightly cleaner and didn't fall apart or come unstitched at all.I chose the "brown" color and it didn't have any logos or text printed on it - super bonus as I'm not a fan of heavy branding on these kinds of things. It's a great mix of more natural colors and natural pattern. The packaging it came in was pretty much all in Korean, so I had some fun scribbling characters in my Google Translate app to see what exactly it was describing in the features section - fun and educational, haha.It performed great and kept me cooler with water and sweat evaporation, unscathed by UV rays, warmer by blocking wind, reduced sand dust inhalation, and protected my ears from cold, high-intensity winds.
