Pleasantly surprised by the quality of these for the price. They are comparable to the brand names which are much more expensive. My only comment is there isn’t a a difference in any 2 pairs so that there is a left and right side which would be preferable to have all Velcro attach front to back. But doesn’t change how they fit or wear. Will see how long they last this summer but so far so good.

I got these because I was curious about the 4 tabs, rather than the long strip of Velcro most of these type of ‘cone’ boots have. First impression of package was good, and, altho very basic and brief, I appreciate the instructions on the back of the card inside of the bag.The color is great and will be easy to spot in the field, should they ever come off.The first two photos with boots on the horse, are of a 15 hand horse. The last photo is of a 13.2 pony, for which I got this. The size of these boots, is pretty much in line with all these types, and designed for a horse. However, with the 4 tabs, there is more freedom to adjust, as you go up the leg and attach them. I can easily have the bottom tab tighter, for the pony’s narrow pastern. The top tab can be much wider. Most of these type boots have some adjustment allowable, but the 4 tabs on an odd shaped horse, allow more adjustable. Caveat, you can end up with slight gaps in the overall function. Once I get the basic adjustment figured out, I don’t think this will actually be a problem tho, so I’m not worried about that. Do note that there is no soft ‘fleece’ at je bottom or top of the boot. It would be great for the company to offer a couple of sizes for taller and shorter horses. My only real complaint, is how long it took to get these boots. It was a couple of weeks or so. Outside of that, I’m pleased and think the price is very reasonable.

I ordered these fly boots for my 14-2 welsh cob who was being tormented by flies on his legs. He seems quite happy with the boots and has not tried to remove them. (He is not above removing items that displease him!) Even though he's small, they fit fine. As you can see from my photo, I have to overlap the velcro tab so that some of it just sticks out. (The manufacturer recommends cutting off excess to the horse can't grab it.) But the velcro is very sticky and there's enough contact for the boots to be on securely. The plastic stays do not run the full length of the boot, so he doesn't have any trouble bending his legs to lie down. The stays are maybe an inch and a half shorter than the boot. From what I've read about fly boots, one can expect to get only a season or two out of them. So it's nice to have a relatively inexpensive option.

I really love the durability of the material of these boots. I have purchased four different brands over the last few years with a variety of quality and durability. These boots, though, are on the higher end with the quality of the Velcro closures and the material of the trim around the edges. They don't seem to be rubbing and seem to fit comfortably.I have a little doubt that these boots will last at least a couple of seasons on my mare. She stands at 15.2 hands, to give you a size comparison. The boot size covers her legs perfectly. The color is bright and noticeable, so in the chance she losses one (it's happened with other brands), I'll be able to easily spot this color in the pasture. For now, I'd say this is a good quality product with good value.

My Arabian gelding is about 15hh with finer boning and these fit great on the tightest setting/fit.They seem just as durable as other fly boots and they stay on fine. The bright colors are a bonus in case he gets them off as he's in 24/7 turn out and we all know how that goes.I think they're a good fly boot, he likes them, they fit and they keep the flies off.5*s from us both

This is a super set of fly boots. I have large horses, and I always hope that items will fit. These fit, and I am so glad. They are both long enough and wide enough for my horses. They are snugger around the ankles, which is how they stay on. They have a little soft trim at the bottom to help avoid rubs. The top, near the knees and hocks, fit loosely. That’s exactly how this style is supposed to fit. They are long enough to offer plenty of leg coverage on my 17+ hander.Mine are bright, bright purple. This is great, too, when I need to hunt down a stray in the field. I should be able to spot it easily. The mesh looks durable. There are 4 fasteners per fly boot. That’s great. They should stay on pretty well. The only downside that I see with these is that the hook and loop fasteners all face the same direction. In my world, this is a left hand set of four fly boots. The fasteners on the right side face forward. On the left side they face backwards, as they should.I did not remove a star for this oddity, because it’s a nice set at a good price. Maybe I’m just being too picky about which way the fasteners face. I'll be using them daily during fly season.

I've used fly boots for my 2 horses for several years now and they really seem to help in the summer. I've usually gone with a name brand fly boot that a friend told me about, but those are pretty expensive and they only seem to last a year or two. I decided to try these because they look nice and are less expensive. They come in a variety of colors, though I haven't found that the horses really have a preference on color. I am happy with the build quality of these and everything appears to be assembled well. The soft material around the top and bottom is good and the Velcro seems good and sturdy, though I would have preferred the Velcro to run all the way down the fly boot instead of having 4 separate pieces. With it being one long piece I find it's easier to get on and off. With the separate pieces it seems like once I get one or two pulled off and go to pull the others off, the first ones flop back and latch again. It's too soon to tell how well they will last, but I'm hopeful they'll last a while.
