Does everything you need. Great size, great power.My only hangup is the blade tracking itself is a little wonky even from the start. It doesn't like every company's blades. Also the blades are sort of hard to find in store if needed.

The first tool I’ve had of MetaboHPT/Hitachi that is not on par with red counterpart. The blade does not stay on track for some reason. I look at the Red Mil that is the same size as this 3 1/4” midsize bandsaw and it has a track designed where it would be impossible for the blade to come off track mid use. I replaced the tires to no avail. When it was working it was nice and light with plenty power. Only thing it lacked was a rafter hook and or a handle that would allow you to store it on a pipe stand. Which red and teal certainly has, maybe others. These are fixable problems. 4 stars for not being as rugged as needed. I use this to cut some pipe but it is mostly used to cut unistrut and 3/8, 1/2” & 5/8” threaded rod.

Powerful saw and perfect size. Had some tracking issues. This is a great platform, however, Metabo HPT should consider reworking this beast to make the blade more stable and less likely to come off track and or cut crooked. Couple pieces of hard metal should do the trick. With it being midsize, extra weight wouldn’t be an issue. Also, the handle is useless. Kind of a dangerous spot to be in. Throw a standard handle on top and it doubles as a perfect hanger on a pipe chain vise. Keeping my tools off the ground is important to me.

Saw works awesome. Cut aluminum quick and clean and didnt have any problems with steel. So nice not to have to use a cutting wheel anymore! THEN THE BLADE SNAPPED. Probably my fault no biggie. But where do I get a new blade? You cant! A single metabo replacement blade is over 100 dollars! Stupid gonna order a long blade and cut it down and solder it I guess. Really expected more out of hitachi/metabo hot. (I own the full line of metabo hpt tools this is my first and only complaint)
