My toddler has had a blast with this metal detector. It’s lightweight enough for my 4/5yr old to handle. He loves to have the shovel handy if he detects anything.Sometime we will hide thing for him to use but has also had a blast with it at the beach. Carry case too.Great gift for kids who can’t handle a full size one and want to explore with one. We haven’t found it detects more than a couple centimeters but it’s good for what we use it for.

What I really appreciate about this metal detector is its ease of use. There’s no complicated setup, and the controls are straightforward, which means less frustration and more time enjoying the search. The adjustable search coil is convenient and allows for easy maneuvering on different types of terrain. Whether we are looking for coins on the beach or just having fun in the park, this metal detector has consistently delivered good performance. The design is perfect for young explorers - lightweight and easy to handle. The adjustable stem is a great feature, allowing my child to use it comfortably without straining. We've taken it to the beach a couple of times, and the waterproof coil held up well in the wet sand. It's pretty sensitive too, picking up small coins and even a lost earring.The LCD display is clear and easy to read, even in bright sunlight. My kid loves watching the numbers change as they sweep the detector over different areas. The sound feature is a nice touch too - it gets louder as you get closer to metal objects, which adds to the excitement of the hunt. It's been a fun way to get the family outdoors and exploring together.

It does say for kids and the cheap plastic build fits that description. The sensitivity is passable but not great, don't expect to find anything very far below the surface ( a few inches or so).

This lightweight metal detector provided lots of fun for my littles ones. It is very easy to assemble and we really liked that it came with a sturdy case that my kids can carry. It detected metal very quickly. The handle and weight of the item make it easy to use for a variety of ages.

My daughter has been asking about a metal detector for a while since she was allowed to play with my neighbors for a little while when we were trying to find our property pin. Being a kid's toy obviously it's not going to find super deep metal, but it does work for metal on the surface or slightly below ground. Definitely not for extensive use, but as a kid's toy it's super functional and super fun. For the price in comparison to an actual metal detector it's a great value, and I like that it's significantly lighter than the one she was playing with because she had a little bit of a hard time carrying it around. This one is perfect.

I ordered this kid’s metal detector from Amazon Vine for my nephew, who is 7 years old. It was quick and easy to set up, and it took us only a couple of minutes to finish assembling it.Even though it is lightweight, the quality of the metal detector still seems pretty good, it was designed for kids, so it has been quite easy for him to carry it around without any issues.After setting it up, we took it out to the backyard to test it. The LCD display and sound alerts made it simple for my nephew to understand when he was near any metal, and his excitement grew every time the green light flashed.My nephew couldn’t stop smiling when we actually found some old coins hidden in the soil. Overall, we had a great time using this metal detector, and I believe it was a great way to get him interested in exploring.

My son loves playing with this metal detector. We bought it for his birthday and he continues to play with it to this day. This toy is not only fun, but it also encourages and exercise. The LCD display makes it very easy to read. Even though this is for kids, it's a very useful metal detector that works great. The search coil is waterproof so this works perfect for searching for treasures at the beach.

It is easy to assemble it together and it is easy to carry around with the bag that comes with it. It is lightweight and the LED screen and the sounds just help when my kids use it. It's a fun little detector for my daughter.
