Initial impressions are mostly positive.The double lock seems sturdy on the lock side while still being easy to utilize. It does not seem like it would accidentally pop open. Unfortunately the hinge on the top of the cage doesn't feel as sturdy as it should.The X4 slides in easily and fits securely. The cage seems like it would offer decent protection around what it covers. However the piece of metal separating the battery and charging port gets in the way of the swing open nature of the charging port; making it difficult, but not impossible to open.The Action Camera hinged adapter is not exactly confidence inspiring.The magnets holding each side against the cage are strong enough to hold the adapter in place while remaining easy enough to flip down to use.The hinges are VERY loose and as such the camera will shake/vibrate. Since the cage and hinges are metal, there is also a light click that occurs with the vibration that might be picked up by the mic. I'll likely pick up a threaded adapter over using the hinges.

The case is lightweight, well built and has a perfect fit for the x4 series camera. It feels safe and has a few connection points for added functionality. Overall id say the value for money is on point.

Case was exactly what I expected and i highly recommend it. I did get a defective screen protector but the company reached out immediately to resolve the issue. I will definitely be looking out for other items from this company!

The latch gets stuck and you have to forcibly pry it to remove it.I’m just outside my 30 days so they can’t replace or refund this. Not to say it’s a bad product bc it def feels sturdy but seems to be put together less than ideal on the hinges. Especially for something that’s supposed to protect a $500+ device. If I had it to do again, not sure I would.Update: they reached out to me and made it right when they didn’t need to. So A+ on the customer service side of this.

The case fits perfectly and seems very sturdy and well made. I rate it 5 stars. I followed the instructions exactly for the screen protector installation and still could not get the air bubbles out. So I tried again with the second screen protector and still the same result (pictured). I would rate the screen protectors 2 stars because the touch screen still works however I cannot get rid of the air bubbles even after cleaning and scraping repeatedly.
