These look pretty nice, but I do wish they came with some that have a flat side so I didn't have to cut so many pieces. I used a razor/carpentry knife to score them and then snap them. I had a lot of trouble getting them to snap off after cuts were made, no matter how deep I cut into the layers. It suggests using your hand to snap off the pieces... I had to put them on the edge of a table and hold them with one hand and use pliers to snap off the pieces because my hands aren't strong enough to do it on their own (I started bruising my hand at one point from trying to manually snap them). I also realized that if you have light switches / outlets / etc. wherever you're installing, you're going to have a hell of a time trying to cut proper holes for these. I ended up using my dremel to cut these holes, which worked better. Definitely make sure to set aside a lot of time to prep these!

Wow, this stuff is sticky! My walls have a light textured finish, but we didn’t need to sand to get this to stick. Love the look, and the material seems high quality. We are definitely not handy, and wound up using a Dremel to cut these, plus some borders to give it a finished look. It wasn’t particularly difficult, but we should have made sure everything was level before we dove in. Because of some early mistakes, we needed to cut out a few pieces into slightly smaller shapes. But, the pattern makes it hard for anyone to spot those. Love this.

I ordered 10 boxes of these tiles, they are so pretty and would have added a nice touch to my kitchen.Every sheet of tiles in all 10 boxes had defects. I’m super OCD and it would have driven me bonkers.
