Not plug and play. Came with wiring that did not match my 8th gen accord factory plug. Had to use the alternate wiring method of running in through the auxiliary jack in the center console. It works but it could be a lot better.Bluetooth is a forced pain in the butt. Have to turn off CarPlay and Bluetooth on my phone to keep it from auto connecting to my phone. Using it for phone calls is horrible. It doesn’t have any kind of microphone connection to help with audio for calls. Audio volume is drastically lower than factory radio. I listen to radio on level 8 for normal driving. I have to set this at nearly 20 to hear anything. Backup/dash camera never functioned from the day it was installed. The content of this review seems like it should be a 1-star. Despite all the negatives, it does bring CarPlay to the vehicle.

Bluetooth automatically forces your phone to turn on and connect and turns off the wifi on your phone. The cp link app for connecting your iPhone wirelessly was working perfect. Now it won’t connect wirelessly. The user manual that comes installed in the head unit has disappeared I can’t get access to the manual. Can bus doesn’t work properly there is a loud humming sound. I had to buy a separatelay lok box. Back up camera does not activate automatically I have to open the app And choose the backup camera in order to use it. The stereo takes a minute to start and the same when you turn off your car it takes a minute to completely shut off. I have the 2007 Toyota Highlander 4x4 base head unit 6 gb memory and 128 storage. I. Ant even update it if I wanted to there is no link

The car head unit came without a box, and the screen was full of fingerprints. It installed fine, but the Google Play store keeps crashing. I updated it as much as I can, but the firmware over OTG doesn't work at all. It has the option to update by USB, but you have no link, no support site, or a proper installation guide. The reverse camera doesn't always work and flickers, and the backup guide is not present at all. Android Auto functions very well, and doesn't drop, so that's the only way the head unit is useful. Google Assistant is blocked, and the Bluetooth is very aggressive and pairs with any phone without a prompt. It just connects, it doesn't ask for permission. If I turn off Bluetooth on my phone, it turns my Bluetooth on my Galaxy S22 Ultra forcefully back on. I don't like that I get forced on an AI assistant that no one ever heard of and I have to pay for it to use the head unit. I calibrated the touch screen like 10 times, you have to touch everything 5 times before anything reacts to it. I am sorry but this is unacceptable. I wasted my time and am very frustrated. I won't buy this again. Also, for 6 gigs of ram and 128 GB space, this thing runs slower than a turtle. I do not believe the specs are true . A 12 MB app takes almost 5 minutes to install aftrer downloading it .
