I bought this to use with a set of cow tails for ascenders and positioning. It is rated the same as the micro wire gate, I suspect that it is actually stronger than the rating as it is significantly thicker than a micro. It is comparable to a petzl attaché in size. Easy to use and performs well. The lock is simple and secure. Very reasonably priced.
