This wiring harness works well for installing an aftermarket stereo in your kia/Hyundai. The factory stereo has a tendency to burn out over time so I replaced it with an Inexpensive unit beside it. Does the job!

Using a catalog, I tried another harness that was not the right fit. This one worked perfectly, even though I don't have an Elantra model with the Infiniti sound system. After connecting the cables from the harness that came with the head unit to the ones on this harness, it was just a matter of plugging things in and it worked properly.In hindsight, I'd recommend using the Metra website fit guide to help determine what harness is needed. If you're a novice like I was, the choices might be overwhelming, but you'll want to pick the one from the fit guide that says "radio harness into car."

The main wiring harness worked fine. I used butt connectors and put all the wires together then used black tape to make one solid wire. Worked in my 2010 Hyundai Sonata first try. The other red connector not sure why it doesn’t have the aux and usb that was built into the car and I don’t have an amp so that plug was useless. Anyway I bought a screen so usb/aux wasn’t a big loss for me.

The connection is not the perfect fit. However, I did use some electrical tape to bound the two and it works. My review is about two weeks since install

I own a 2009 Hyundai. I’ve been looking for a wiring harness for the longest. All the ones I could find were for the newer 2010+ Hyundai or it wasn’t even the right car. I saw the comments about how that red harness only has one wire so I hesitant to get this but it fit perfectly and all the sound and everything else is coming through just fine. Now I don’t have an amplifier or steering controls so maybe that’s why I didn’t notice anything missing.

Perfect to simplify my aftermarket radio that has an ISO connection. First time I installed a car deck and I just had to match the colors and used butt (crimp tubes?) connectors. Now my elantra 2010 (2011?) Has usb aux and Bluetooth! I did not even meet the big brown connector with only one wire. Glad I ordered this!

It worked perfectly and without any issues. It was a perfect fit and it was designed in a way that you can't put it together any way other than the correct way which is nice.
