I picked this up for a double DIN head unit for my 2003 Acura RSX Type S. It fits the hole in the dash, and the radio fits as well, but there's no plastic clips with metal retainers like the stock piece! You have to use the original metal bracket and tighten the 2 obnoxiously placed bolts into the welded in nuts. I had to cut my factory radio bracket and afix it to the new radio bracket to get it to all stay in. I also had to trim the rear side of this piece to get the radio bracket to fit. I cut off the little plus sign looking things poking out from the back of the this. Kind of crazy, but the quality is pretty good and it looks nice and feels sturdy. Still, I feel like it should be better documented so you know what you're getting into. Do not order this and think you will get away without some cutting and basic custom work.

As others have mentioned this is simply a new faceplate/bezel and not a ready to install radio mount. You need to transfer over metal brackets and the hazard switch. As far as a faceplate, it is very sturdy and the brackets and switch fit perfectly, but if you don't have those parts to move over this bezel will not work.

What you might expect from Metra. Nice sleek matte finish and a perfectly snug fit. Mine did have a tiny paint blemish but nothing I can’t live with. My only note would be that there are no clips on this version like there were on the single din version. If you have a heavy head unit you will definitely need to use the 2 bolts on the under side of the bracket to hold everything in.

Don't hesitate to purchase this double din kit for your RSX/integra. Fits perfect, just need to reuse the factory screws. I used it to install an android head unit and it fits perfectly flush as well! very satisfied

Very simple product that screws to factory double din bracket of the Acura RSX. Absolutely a perfect fit and the black color matches exactly the area around the mirror and moon roof buttons of the dash. These are the only 2 areas of the entire dash that are black. I would say it is a satin black that is not shiny. I installed a JVC KW-V830BT unit and fit was flawless.

I bought the installation kit to install a Jensen Multimedia Receiver VM9224 in the dash for a Acura RSX. Initially I had used the factory faceplate and took the single DIN radio out and then the pocket from underneath the radio and it left a Double DIN hole for the Receiver. The fit was fine and I used one of the trim pieces that came with the receiver that I could trim and shape to cover the gaps. Needless to say, my lack of patience got the best of me and was doing this while I had about 5 day before this install came was to come in the mail and since my first installation worked, I was planning on sending it back when I received it. Well, I received it and decided to see what was different about it. Well, the size is exactly what it needs to be so there are no "trim" pieces needed. So now the Double DIN receiver looks perfectly matched up with no gaps in the fit. I was content with the factory install, and then 100% happy with this aftermarket that made a better fit.
