I tried a different one first that didn’t work so I returned it and got this one. I wanted to be able to get out that clipboard piece on the top of the dashboard. Find a video on YouTube for assistance.

Trying to fashion your own tools when these are priced reasonably doesn’t make a lot of sense. Just buy these.

When I bought this, I told my family that this is probably the dumbest thing I ever bought -- just two wires. :) HOWEVER, I battled with trying to use coat hangers and backwards drill bits to cause the radio clips to all disconnect at once with no luck. This Radio Removal Key clicked in place in a few seconds and the radio popped right out with little effort. They worked beautifully. I am really glad I bought these.

Worked about as it should. Fit well, almost too well, tough to remove.Removed radio super-easy. Used on a 2005 GTO, jammed these in, pulled radio right out.Simple
