WHOA!!! I usually don't write reviews, but this is the most powerful vacuum I have ever used. It is surprisingly quiet, and the amount of attachments included is more than I could ever need. I hung it in my garage, and the 30 foot hose is definitely enough to get around my cars and my garage. I also like that it could be easily taken off of the wall and rolled around. This thing is durable and I love the look of it. I had the Master Blaster for years, and this is the best upgrade I could have purchased. BTW, it does function as an incredibly powerful blower as well. If you have been looking for a powerful vacuum that doubles as a car dryer, don't think twice! I do a lot of woodwork too, so this is my new shop vac as well. Just be mindful that you need a 20amp breaker and it only works for dry stuff. No wet pick up. VERY HAPPY!!!

I recently received this powerful vacuum for my home, and I couldn’t be more impressed! This MetroVac Super Vac N Blaster Vacuum: Super Vac N Blaster 8.0 Peak HP, Model SVNB: Full Size Vac N Blaster 8.0 Peak HP Vacuum Clean has been on my most wanted list for quite some time. I really enjoy detailing our cars, but until now I've been using a small, cordless vacuum for the interior cleaning, along with an electric leaf blower to help me dry the cars off. With this product I replaced both of those products with one much better and specialized product for those specific jobs.Now I didn't see it mentioned anywhere, but this takes 18amps, it comes with a normal plug but generally those can take 15amps, previously I mentioned that this required a 20amp plug, that wasn't correct, what I should've said is that I used an adapter to fit a 20-amp socket (NEMA 15 - NEMA 20 adapter). This is because I didn't want to starve this of power and risk burning out the motor or risk damage to anything else. I also had to use a heavy duty extension cable that was rated for the amps and long enough to reach over to the 20amp plug (10 gauge, 50 ft).I had to install this all the way at the other end of my garage from where the plug I needed to use was which meant I needed to run the cable on top of my cabinets all the way over to where the washer and dryer are. This took about 90% of the time to install this, but for most people I doubt they'll have the issues that I had so it wouldn't take as long.Once installed, I was ready to test this puppy out. My usual method when detailing our cars is to clean out the interior first before washing and finishing with the exterior. This was ideal since I could jump right into seeing what this thing could do. I wanted to mention how well made this product is, especially the quality of the hoses in particular. The hoses are legitimately the same kind they have at car washes and it works really well with all the included accessories to really get into the nooks and crannies of the car interior to suck up any gunk that may be there. This has so much more power than anything I've ever used at home, and it is quite loud as should be expected.Cleaning the interior of all 3 of our cars took me 1/5 of the amount of time it usually takes, because before I would have to recharge the vaccum after finishing a car. Not only were the time savings fantastic but this sucked up everything, there wasn't any errant left behind dust or hair or anything left behind.To switch from the vaccum to the blower your have to remove the vaccum hose, remove the cap, remove the paper vacuum bag, then leave the cap off and attach the smaller blower hose. The blower hose is much much shorter than the vacuum hose, which would've made things difficult if I couldn't just pop this off the wall mount and wheel it around the car to blow it off after I got done washing it. I love how handy it is that this super powerful tank can be used either stationary, or on the move rolling on the built-in wheels that make this such a versatile tool to have on hand.Overall, I honestly had expectations that were as high as they could possibly be when I got this, and for the most part this product certainly met or exceeded what expectations I had for it. The only point of pain for me was the installation process, which had more to do with the layout of my garage and where the available 20A outlet was in relation to where I had to install this because of my cabinets occupying the majority of the wall space in the garage. But once installed, this thing has been flawless and has saved me a ton of time detailing our cars. Now the big question: Is it worth the price? For me, I'll say yes, even though it is certainly costly, the one thing more valuable is my time and this has been one of the best investments I've made for giving me more time to spend with my loved ones that would've otherwise been spent detailing our cars. If you can find it on sale that would be even better, or if that isn't an option perhaps getting the model below this one that has 4.0 hp at a lower price would be a better option for some. Overall, I'm very impressed by the quality and craftsmanship of this product, I have no doubt it's going to last me a long time and save me a ton of time detailing my cars. This is an excellent product, and I love that it's made in America, and that it comes with a 5-year warranty. 5/5 stars I would highly recommend it.
