The vinyl coating on my '22 Model S yoke had begun to wear thru. So I found these wraps and decided to try them out. Everything the other reviews say is true. This cover does cause the buttons to lift when it is tucked in, however I want to let other buyers know what I've done to mitigate the problem. I feel I've found a solution that provides acceptable results.First, the threading is pretty easy. Take your time. Pull it tight. Make sure the tension is even as you go.In my first install, I didn't trim the material around the thumb areas. The results were unacceptable. The thumb buttons would only respond to very hard pressure.I drove like this for a week. After no improvement, I pulled out the material around the thumb switches and trimmed it so that only about 4mm was being tucked in around the entire thumb area. This improved the performance of the buttons. After another week I decided to try to trim more and retuck it. I trimmed it so about 3mm was tucked. The button performance improved almost to the same pressure as without the cover tucked in. This may require me to occasionally retuck the material but after a week it's still tucked. I may also apply some adhesive to the tucked part to get it to stay tucked longer but I'm going to try it like this for a while first.Overall the results are very good. The only thing I really don't like is the seam that runs right where your hand rests on the yoke. It's hard and sticks up several mm. If they can redesign this without that seam then this is a great deal. As it is, it's a good deal, borderline very good deal.

The video is the only way to learn how to do it. It was very hard to install and took a little over 2 hours to make it perfect. It does look amazing though.

This is an amazing item at an amazing price, couldn’t be happier honestly! I bought this for my boyfriends Model S Plaid because the yolk was peeling up in the top corners so we figured why not try this before purchasing a new yolk.Installation was a little bit tricky at first but I would attribute that more to user error rather than lack of decent directions, which the kit did have. It came with everything needed to install, the actual cover, the thread needed, multiple needles (which were thick and not overly sharp so they were very easy to use), and also came with a thimble. Once I got into a rhythm it was kind of relaxing in a way lol. It was a little tough once you got up around the blinker and horn buttons but luckily I had my boyfriend to pull the fabric closer together while I threaded so it was extra easy.Once said and done it fit like a dream and looks and feels AMAZING. I chose the red thread as the car is red and it looks absolutely amazing with the white interior. Also for reference*** this review is being written a few months into this wrap being on the yolk and it looks and feels like it did on day one. 10/10 on durability of the suede and if I could give more than 5 stars I would.Ps, removing the yolk from the car made it top tier easy to complete on the couch!

This is a great product. It is made of good quality material. Fits perfectly onto the yolk and is a breeze to install. It does take time to install but the video illustrates very well the steps of installation.

Bought this for my 2022 Model X that had the typical peeling issue on the two top points of the yoke and was only getting worse. It was pretty difficult to install but well worth the effort even though the final result is a little short of perfect. There is still some puckering and wrinkling on the top corners after lots of pulling and smoothing. I highly recommend going heavy with the provided 3M tape on those corners. It helped quite a bit with getting it to lay as flat and tight as possible. Overall it’s a huge improvement from how the yoke looked before. I love the manufacturing attention to detail that the carbon fiber pattern runs in the exact same direction as the carbon fiber dashboard accents.

I successfully installed it and it has a big design flaw.It will make your buttons on yoke unresponsive(not completely unresponsive but you have to press twice stronger to activate signals).When you put the edge of the leather underneath the yoke, that will make a gap between the button sensor and the yoke panel, which leads hader to activate the button.The fit is very poor also especially both top parts.I cut it using scissors after 5 minutes of test drive.

Than I read the installation instructions first I was terrified with complexity and even decided to sent it back. Then I watched provided video instructions and decided to take a risk and try it. It was worth it! While process is not simple and took me about 3 hours to complete it is really difficult to do anything terribly wrong about that process. It requires time and diligence but at the end you feel like a pro because nobody would believe you did it yourself at your first attempt. It looks and feels really good, so at the end I’m very happy with this purchase.

Item was waaaaay to small and would not fit my yoke. Not sure how many different sizes the yoke comes in but this was not expected as an outcome. The support directed me to email but I got no response even weeks later. I also found that I have to pay shipping to return the product which makes this even worse for me.
