Your cart is empty.The MFJ-919 is a 1500 Watt true current baluns/antenna center insulators that transforms 200 ohms to 50 ohms. Transmission Line Transformer construction using 100 ohm characteristic impedance transmission line gives flat 160-10 Meter response. Large low permeability ferrite cores easily handle full power. SO-239, stainless steel hardware with direct 14 gauge stranded copper wire connection to antenna. Heavy duty weather housing. Measures 3½ x 3½ x 2½ inches.

I am using this balun with a full wave lenght 40 meter delta loop at 139' 7 inches without trimming I have a 1.1 to 1.3 set for the entire 40 meter band. Along with that I got 1.5 and below for 20 meters, 1.1 on 15 meters, 1.5 through out most of the 10 meter band. So I am very happy with the balun only drawback is the overall wieght on my 43 ft pole at 40 ft I had to compensate for the extra pull with an extra guy.

the balun is well built with the exception of no seal on the sides i sealed them with silicone . installed it today, it worked as it should. Bob kc4dno.

I set up an inverted L with this in a tree in my back yard 30 feet high and 12 ground wires and it has worked great from 160 to 10 meters not the best set up but it does meet my needs.
