I love the idea of this. When a book fits it helps me hold a book without turning my hands/thumbs and turning a page is pretty easy. If more of the books i read fit in this, I'd rate it higher. 75% of books don't fit. It does not hold and standard size paperback i have well. Hard covers if under 250/300 pages it does well, over that and it just doesn't hold all the pages. It will hold some % in place and it helps reduce hand fatigue but it's not hands free.

Just what I was looking for. Well-made and sturdy and it helps to keep my book open so that I don’t have to hold it with my arthritic thumbs.

Perfect tool to hold physical books! I’m a huge kindle girlie and wanted to get back into reading physical books, so I bought this in hopes that it would make reading as enjoyable as reading on my kindle. OMG. This device is a game. changer. The clips extend easy, and I can adjust the angle of the device. The device does better with paperback books than hardcovers, but can hold a 300ish page hardcover no problem. I will be using this basically everyday now

This is just what I needed so that I can read while having lunch. I usually read paperback books, so this lightweight holder is perfect. I like how the clips on the side slide out to fit my book. I also like how the clips hold my place when I have to pause my reading.

You can barely feel any weight from the inside of the box that this product comes in. This is so lightweight it's great for travel and portability. It's not going to be able to hold a computer because it might break but it can hold a lightweight book or reports or anything you need to keep still. There's no assembly so it's already set to go when you receive it. It's great when you need to go somewhere and you have a table to sit and read or watch your tablet or something like that. Great for travel.It's adjustable so that it can hold books or papers in various links. It also has guides to holder papers that are longer or whiter than the product itself.

his Hands-Free Book Stand is not just for kids! I got this for myself, because my hands protest when I have to hold a book open for too long--which could amount to as little as 20 minutes. Right now I have it holding 450 (thin) pages of my book open with the right clip, and it's not going anywhere. The left clip is holding 40 pages, which is not a challenge at all. My point is that I don't have to worry about my book straining to close, while I am in the middle of a chapter.I like being able to adjust the pedestal to the correct angle for me and that you can then lock it in place, so that it doesn't move from that position until you unlock it. There are six positions/angles that can be locked in place. I can see where that would be a good safety feature for children, so that they don't pinch their fingers. The base of the pedestal and the main part of the base of the stand have silicone pieces that keep it from sliding on the table.I don't know what the "hook-like" pieces attached to the front clips are specifically meant for (see photo), but I can see where a page (or several) can be tucked into it to ease with turning the page, while the rest of the pages are secure inside the clip. (That way you don't have to clip and unclip every time you want to turn a page.)I haven't yet needed to use the extended arms at the top of the book stand, but I know they will come in handy when I am using the stand for a cookbook or a (tall) craft book/magazine.This is a very practical book stand--everything in one place! I highly recommend it, especially at this price point!
