Everything is great! I much prefer this to the insanely priced KESTER & other brands. It’s just as good ((I’ve been soldering for decades)). It wets great and leaves nice shiny clean joints. I’d always recommend having some good quality Rosin flux on hand ((this stuff contains Rosin flux too)) as you can never have enough! This stuff is “middle priced” but is JUST AS GOOD as the really expensive brands. Don’t waste your money on “hype”.

I totally rewired a 73 Harley FLH with a MCCruise control and a MUnit Blue. This solder melts at a low temperature and was easy to work with. Very glad I bought it.

Contains lead so melts easily so is good for delicate electronics. But not suitable for jewelry, food or water containers due to lead content.

This is the One Solder For Everything. The flux is effective, but at only 2.2% doesn't leave a huge mess. The diameter is stiff enough to be easily used, but thin enough to provide good control for everything but the tiniest SMDs. The alloys is eutectic lead/tin, the best all around choice available if you can use leaded solder (which you really want to do).I have several different solders available, almost all leaded. This is one of the best all around-- up there with Kester and Alpha.

This 63/37 (tin/lead) solder has worked out very well for work with thru-hole components on a PCB. I have built a QCX transceiver and have no complaints from the solder department. I may be tempted to use this thin-gauge solder on a SMD project that is in my future. It may be a tad too "fat" for that; maybe. This solder matches my experience with Kester solder. Both good.

Bought this looking for an alternative to multicore solder which seems hard to find now for some reason. It works very well! Wets nicely and has a good amount of flux in it. Generally happy with MG chemicals products and this is good solder.

Easy to work with, flows nice. Haven't run out of the 1/2lb spool I bought almost two years ago yet, but will buy again when I do.

Eutectic solder as advertised, works without that dreaded plastic-y phase you get with 60/40 blend. The rosin core is plentiful and aids in keeping tips clean and lean (and smells lovely! But that's neither here nor there, perhaps I shouldn't be enjoying the fumes as much as I do haha). Definitely recommend this for anyone doing electronics work or anyone looking for a eutectic solder. Good value for a half pound roll, which if I ever finish I will buy once again.

Good but I prefer Loctite, the joints come out clean and shiny but it is still single core solder instead of multi core.

This excellent solder saved me a fortune on electronic building. The new non- lead kind won"t melt st the usual soldering temperature. You clean the metal to be joined, heat it snd the surface oxidizes before the solder can flow, making at best an ugly cold solder joint. This stuff melts and flows like butter, and every joint is done well the first time, and done quickly. ( Because it contains lead, which is a known neurotoxin, it should be kept away from food and eating areas, and from kids. Clean up your workplace carefully after use!)

I needed a small-diameter solder to attach some SMD parts and found this 25-mil roll on Amazon. Turns out that I could really use something even smaller, but this works well and has a good flux core. Keep in mind that this solder does contain lead, so it's not RoHS-compatible. But solder with lead sure flows nicely.
