ABOUT SIZE
The roaster measures 16 by 12 inches, a suitable size for different needs.
But it extends to 18 inches with the handles, so if your oven is small, you may want to measure it to make sure the pan will fit and leave some extra space when moving it out.

I was able to fit an 18 pound spatchcocked turkey for Thanksgiving, can’t think of a better qualification for size. That was a stretch, but regularly I easily fit a normal spatchcocked chicken. Fits vegetables underneath the rack. So far no rust or stripping, cleans relatively easy. I don’t know if you’re supposed to but the rack fits easily in the dishwasher and I wash the pan in the sink.

I purchased this pan to replace my roasting pan that got lost in moving. I absolutely love it because it’s big enough to hold a large turkey but it’s not so heavy you can’t lift it. I used it for a beef roast and surrounded it with vegetables. The vegetables came out beautifully browned. I highly recommend this pan.

I know you can get cheaper ones but, if you will use this type of large pan often, spend the money. Many more expensive than this one as well.I just used this on my smoker where I smoked two ducks at the same time in this pan. Worked flawlessly. Took the heat fluctuations from going from smoke to charcoal briquettes. No burn spots on in or outside of pan. Seems very well made.Considering what it went through it cleaned up great.Got a brisket I will be cooking on New Year’s Eve in this pan.

I seasoned the pan with vegetable oil as recommended by manufacturer. My 1st use was to cook a spiral ham in it. The ham turned out very good and the pan cleaned out very easily with no sticking. It is light weight enough that even with a 9+ lb ham in it, it was not overly heavy to lift. The only issue I had was that the rack inside it slides around inside the pan. (The antistick coating on the pan is slick and the rack doesn't get quite close enough to the sides to stop it from sliding. Overall I am very happy with the quality and utility of the pan.

It’s a good pan but not so great for basting. Basting becomes a challenge with the flat rack. The side handles are too high.
