I'd had a different size for a previous car, had used the composite snow chains to get out of some sticky situations. Had bought these to fit out a new car with different sized wheels, they appear to be just as good quality as the original ones that I had.

Helfern on Board.

A tight fit for a Chevy Volt; difficult to install. Might be easier with a different wheel set or car. Well made. Quality material.

I have a Chevy Malibu with tire size 225/55R17 and the group 11 tire chains fits perfect. They will actually fit 15,16,17 tires. They feel like great quality and super easy to instal, to remove ask someone to pull off as you are slowly reversing.

Much better than actual chains in many situations. Seem to work better than tire socks. Very light and easy to stow. I watched an install video in English before I installed them the first time. It's a very easy process even with tight wheel well clearance. Probably a good idea to practice on dry land before you need them. High quality product made in EU.

These are brilliant. Easy to put on, great traction - better than other types of rise socks and was simpler than chains. Makes me feel like we don’t need 4wd.

I will update this review when I actually use the item, but upon opening I see the instructions are only in French, German, Dutch, Italian, and Spanish. I bought this from the UK store and one would think an EU product would have English instructions.I took the liberty of typing in the French instructions to Google translate and am pasting below for others' ease of use. I believe they are accurate but please don't blame me for any mistranslations:Assembly:1) Thread composite chain on the wheel by positioning the junction band at the top of the tire2) Keep one hand on the junction band, and pull the elastic as low as possible with the other hand3) Repeat the operation on the other side4) Position the flat interior elastic as low as possible to the ground. Move the vehicle forward slowly half a turn of the wheel (the tires must not slip).5) Finish threading the composite chain over the wheel. The elastic band must be completely flat on the inner side of the tire and not twisted.6) Adjust the position of the composite chain so that the yellow tensioner is centered in relation to the edge of the rim.7) Close the locking buckle.Check: Make sure that no part of the composite chain comes into contact with the mechanical parts of the vehicle, even without full steering. Start at low speed and gradually accelerate. Michelin Easy Grip centers perfectly after covering a distance of around 200m. Then make a final check that the product is correctly fitted.Dissasembly1) Bring the inner flat elastic to the front of the wheel, starting at the top of the tire2) Pull the composite chain outwards and slide it to the ground3) Reverse the vehicle half a turn of the wheel to recover the chainNote: it is not necessary to open the locking buckle for disassemblyAdvice: Before prolonged parking, remove the composite snow chains to prevent them from freezing on the wheels, which would make disassembly less easy. Avoid long driving on asphalt which could damage the product. In use, regularly check the centering of the Michelin Easy Grips after a big U-turn type maneuver or a passage in deep snow.

Slightly slow to install unless jacked up front tires off the ground makes it much easier. May not be street approved depending on state regulation with studded chains. Overall nice quality product fast shipping!
