The simple direct plug in way to add performance to your transmission. The Line Pressure Booster modifies the pressure signal sent to the computer resulting in the computer raising the line pressure. Definitely increase pressure and most shifts feel good, however the 2-3 shift on my 2004 jeep wj is harsh and clunky. Removed the unit and scrapped it.

I'm only giving it a 2 star because it is actually a plug n play item. Otherwise I'd give it 0 because that's exactly what it did to the line pressure on my 04 Dodge Ram with the 5.7 I noted what the desired line pressure was and the actual with out this installed and like it should be they were fairly close to being the same. After installing it I watched my scanner again and it didn't have any effect on the pressure and yes I made sure it was plugged in. I curious to see what the resistor would show on ohms with a meter and Sonnax says they use a 2.2k ohm 0.5 watt resistor with their kit and this item was no where even close to saying 2.2k I even checked it both ways.

installed in my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with 5.7 and 45RFE. Shifts much better, no lag and really just a better driving experience all around. Well worth the price and install was easy. Just remember to make sure the extra length of wire need to be secured away from the cats, mine was very close and you do not want to melt the coating off the wires.

I have a 2003 ram 1500 2wd 5.7l hemi just so everyone knows. I installed this on my ram and instantly felt the difference. It was night and day, the trucks pulls harder and shifts are noticeably more firm, especially under heavy acceleration. It was definitely worth the money.

A+, very simple and effective, harder shifts and fast torque converter lockup. Jeep Liberty CRD. RFE545 transmission. Not old school shift kit harsh, but noticeable and better drivability, removes the sloppy shifting.

FULL SEND! Get it now it’s worth it for older dodge trucks with tired transmissions! My acceleration and shifting is smooth and much faster! No it’s not going to make your truck a race car but when you put the pedal down you won’t wait 3 years for the thing to down shift anymore!

My Item arrived on time . I wish this item would have came with a manual it I dont notice a difference in the lower RPM'S but if im on the highway accelerating it will stay lock in one gear I literally have to let off the gas for my Jeep to shift . I've never had to do that before. It seems like my engine and transmission is working harder than before installing this because my jeep got so hot after just drive it was almost to the H . And it's never gotten that hot since I've owned my jeep . And I changed both my Thermostat and water pump this year and my coolant level was normal .
