This combo was what I was looking for. It is an amazing motherboard with all the options I would need. It felt high quality and was easy to install. The i7 processor is very fast and so far have not even used the full potential of it yet.

the z890 tomahawk is a great pairing with the 265k. this chipset is extremely undervalued with even 8200 cudimms at the price right now. it has handled everything great with no stability issues and im at 71.8ns with minor tweaking.this review is for Shout out for MSI 2025 Q2

Be advised, neither the MB nor the CPU provide graphics output. A graphics card will be necessary. Thanks to MSI support for clarifying this for me.

This board is a great buy for the price as it comes with percs it's a solid board that keeps up with the very pricey boards out there. I like that it can support up to 14th generation cpu's with a bios update support oc and XMP oc also decent built in wifi

I now have 2 new motherboard's, this MSI and a Erying motherboard, both have the same issue's of not wanting to boot up properly or not booting at all, not sure what is wrong or what I'm doing wrong! The MSI board will do nothing at all, it doesn't seem to recognize the CPU, GPU, SSD or Memory and won't even boot from my Window's 11 install disc! Everything is new, nothing is used! I'm lost as to what is going on! Thinking of buying another new power supply to see if that is somehow the problem!

Very disappointed. This clearly was advertised as having PCIe 5.0. It does not. I see now after I purchased it has been updated in here but in my picture the manufacturer specs still show 5.0 but it is only a 4.0. Also the other slots are 4.0x16, 3.0x1, 4.0x4, then 2 more 3.0x1. This was not advertised correctly. If it would have been I would have paid more for a differant board from MSI. But now since they lied I am afraid what I will receive. Look at the picture you will see clearly that it states PCIe 5.0.
