I have a 20 year old trek mountain bike. The sram grip shift finally gave out. I ordered the Microshift twist shifter to replace the sram. The microshift was very inexpensive feeling and any presure from your hands would cause the unit to ghost shift. It also would not stay in the desired gear. I love their derailleurs, but not the twist shifters
