I have three Sidewinder X2s. First one is running an E3D Volcano hardened steel 0.6 nozzle. Second one is running with the 0.4mm nozzle from Micro Swiss. And the third one is running a Micro Swiss 0.6mm nozzle. What is wonderful is that comparing side by side with the original E3D hardened nozzle, I can't tell the print quality apart. So much to say, Micro Swiss has created a truly precise nozzle that lets me print all filament types.I am easily getting 30ish volumetric flow on the 0.6mm nozzle -- and i can't go higher because my cooling setup isn't adequate. For example, using the 0.6mm nozzle from MicroSwiss, I can print at 150mm for perimeters, 250mm for infill and combine this with fast gyroid infill Klipper macro to print stuff super quickly with extremely high quality output. I have tried printing abrasive filaments and run into no issues whatsoever.PLA, PETG, ABS, wood filled filament and carbon fiber filled filaments...all of these are printable just fine using the MicroSwiss nozzle.

I printed like 3 Kg of carbon fibre and glow in the dark filament with it and it still looks brand new.[As a comparison, I tried one 100g glow in the dark print using a brass nozzle and it was all destroyed! Tip was 0.45mm wide and the end of the nozzle was 0.2mm shorter when I tried to recalibrate my Z-offset.]I recommend these nozzle if you print abrasive stuff!

Bought this to print CF Nylon since cf filament is abrasive. So far this has held up for 50+ hours of printing and I haven’t had a single issue. Heat transfer seems to work great too, I’ve read that sometimes hardened steel tips don’t have as much thermal conduction, which is true, but for this application it’s non noticeable.

Excellent bang for the buck and last.Immediately notice quality of prints improve over stock brass nozzles.

The pictures for this product showed 2 nozzles. Even their 0.6 and 0.8mm nozzle pictures show 2 nozzles however I only got 1 nozzle.

This thing will cause you a lot of headaches with the FLsun Super Racer.I bought this thinking Micro Swiss would be a higher quality nozzle designed for higher speed printing based on the description as being high speed and high flow. Unfortunately it does not work properly. Out of the box with no settings changed, it had failed layer adhesion when the speed changes from 30mm/sec -> 150mm/sec. I tried increasing the nozzle temperature to 240-245, got similar results. I was able to get small items to print OK by increasing the flow rate to 120%. However wider and larger items, the layer adhesion would happen again when the initial layer speed increased. It works fine if you reduce the speed to 30-50mm/sec, but since the FLsun prints fine at 150mm/sec with other nozzles, thats pretty useless.Another person left a review over at Micro Swiss, and I asked their support if they resolved it but they did not have a resolution for it. I spent several hours trying to get this to work and while I got it working for some prints, the quality of the prints was pretty bad (warped, deformed sections etc).I put the Cura settings back to the default settings and tried to print a calicat, it had layer adhesion issues as soon as the print speed increased from the initial layer speed to full speed. I swapped this nozzle out for an iMetRx one, using the default Cura settings, and it prints flawlessly each time).Just doesn't work with the FLsun SR.

The first time I used a plated nozzle, I decided that I would never go back to a standard brass nozzle. The plating doesn't make my prints look better or print faster, but the plating just makes the overall experience better. No need for a brush, a quick wipe and it's clean, little to no sticking, just smooth flowing of filament every time. When I saw Micro Swiss made a plated hardened nozzle, I had to give it a try. I haven't used it long enough to know how well it will hold up over time or how much the abrasives will wear away at the plating, but so far it is working well and I'll update this review with long-term results when I have it.
