With the Bevel Gear design, we are able to achieve the industry shortest filament path (less than 41mm). The unique motor placement allows for highly compact, low overhang design. This further increases system rigidity.

Made in the USA quality product that can be seen as soon as you open the package.The CNC machining work on the aluminum parts is excellent.The gears are spot on and hardened.The more contoured part is made of 3D printed material itself. The cost to make this in aluminum would have been prohibitive and there is no real benefit to doing so anyway. The quality of the printing on my sample was excellent.Prints like it should.A quality product all round.

I always had trouble with the horrible Ender 6 Bowden, and I knew it was a huge culprit for crappy stringing and bad print finish because the length was just absurd. I switched to this extruder, printed a 5015 fan duct instead, and relocated my BLTouch behind the nozzle (much better location Im finding!)Love this.

Works good without BL touch , but, there are a couple of printed fittings (thingaverse) that allow your BL touch to work with this install. Adjusted the first clearing lines to be at X=20 because BL adapter hit the frame. Made a more compact adapter and all is well. SO some minor adjustments are in order . Once zeroed in it works great. directions that come with unit are very good. I am happy to be able to use softer materials and hope to get to that soon.

Everything went together perfectly. I did print a different cooling duct that works with the CR touch probe.

So ya people said to buy it, so i did.Complaint 1- why is there no heater cartridge or thermistor included with the hot end? It defeats the purpose of an "upgrade".Complaint 2- why isnt there a new wiring harness all together?The ng made it slightly easier to change the filament , but you need to modify your setup to be over head filament based if you want the real improvement here.overall , i am happy.

Looks like everything came but disappointed that the fan housing came broken and printed poorly. It has lines and is delaminating. I expect higher quality from micro Swiss. Only took off 2 stars for that, I could print a new one.

in 3 prints the fan shoud has warped and sagged. BEWARE if you intend to print materials that require more heat than PLA, you might be in trouble. the hot end and extruder design might be good but the shroud will fail. now considering getting an aliminum fan shroud made, which will cost twice what the extruder kit did. very disapointed, considering the attention to detail with all other aspects of the product.~UPDATE: Micro Swiss have come to the party and covered the cost of an aluminium fan shroud, which is greatly appreciated. nice to see a company stand behind their product.

I held off on this because I had a BL Touch and this doesn’t support it. I finally gave it a try and it made a world of difference. My print quality has improved dramatically. I wish I has started out with this hot end. If you have an Ender 6 buy this even if it means trashing your BL Touch
