Wow! If I could leave zero stars, I honestly would! This tape is probably the WORST thing you could use for an epoxy project. Completely RUINED my countertops.! Literally will not come off and rips and tears and pieces when you even try. No excuse me while I go redo my countertops because I’ve had to SAND them just to get this tape off! 🤬

Couldn’t get it to release. Comes off one little piece at a time before it tears. If you don’t need to remove the tape when your finished this is the tape for you. If you do your screwed

I bought this tape to use as a resist layer for creating a few different types of glued and bonded joints. It works great and the price is right, but there are a few good things to know.Don't put the sticky side of this tape on your final workpiece. You won't be able to cleanly remove it unless the workpiece is made of a material that resists the acrylic adhesive on the tape. This stuff is thin and doesn't stretch, and will tear a lot during removal. I learned about this the hard way by applying it to a clean piece of aluminum.Keeping your base material clean prior to the application of the tape is a good idea. This stuff will show all your mistakes, and depending on your application they might show up in your final workpiece.I can verify that this stuff resists conventional 5min epoxy, plastic-bonding epoxy like 3m DP105, and CA glue. I've seen that it also resists solvents that are often used to bond plastics, like Dichloromethane and MEK.
