The CLASSIC 250 MPPT Charge Controller has Arc Fault, Ground Fault, free web monitoring, a graphics panel and Solar, Hydro and Wind Modes. The CLASSIC 250 has a maximum output current of 63 amps, an operating voltage of 250 volts and works with 12 to 72 volt battery systems. The FREE MidNite Solar Local Application Software enables you to monitor your CLASSICs over your local network or the Internet. As with the whole CLASSIC Line, the CLASSIC 250 has MidNite’s exclusive HyperVOC which extends VOC limits when needed.
Extended Warranty
MidNite Solar offers an industry first, an extended warranty for all the CLASSIC MPPT charge controllers. Six months prior to the end of the warranty period customers can ship their CLASSIC back to MidNite Solar with a check for $147 dollars plus shipping and we will replace any wearable parts and do a general tune-up. This will extend the warranty by 2 additional years, another good reason to purchase a CLASSIC.

When I first turn on the unit, I found out it already had been programmed, I then log on to it from my computer to program it and found out it already had produced over 500kw Hours. Im using it for wind and the AUX1 and AUX2 outputs don't work, which I need for the Clipper to control the turbine, so I can't use it. I contacted seller and said they don't have any more units and they have a unopened box return policy. I just

I love everything about this unit, the price here is WAY below the standard price. Just know that MidNite Solar won't handle warranty issues with it, even though they are new units. (I just wanted to talk to them about the 2 year warranty extension and found this out.) Seller is awesome and upfront, and did work hard to straighten this out, and even though it's not under warranty (Interstate gives 45 days though), this unit works flawlessly in our configuration.It's a great buy, from a great manufacturer other than the warranty issue.

After the disaster of hurricane Maria and its aftermath of political blame game the only other option was to transition to solar energy production. Presently is a small production but thats what makes the Midnite solar classic the right choice. Its scalability and the ability to meet qhat you have to have right now. I set it and forget it because it recognized what was coming in and handed the loads efficiently. Thank you Midnight Solar. A Real Life Changer when everything is upside down.

Definitely better than I expected. I think if they could add a USB port to connect as a wireless device, but it does have a cat5 hookup. Also I have my solar wiring going thru 3/4" aluminum conduit, and these are 1" openings. Definitely recommend the purchase.
