I am very satisfied with the extra grip I get for icy weather and I love how versatile these are for me and my husband to use. Since it straps around the shoe instead of under the bottom, we are able to share these as needed instead of needing multiple pairs of specific sized cleats that attach to our shoes. It also means they take up less space to store which is very important to me having limited storage space.

These cleats are easy to get on with the adjustable elastic strap. There is no leather anywhere, so I'm not sure why the description said that. I got the mediums (suggested for adults), and I think they're a little wide. Maybe you could put them over the ball of your foot, but they tend to land at my arch, so they stick out a little on the sides. You have to make sure they're tight or they can actually slide a little side to side. With the bright orange strap everyone will know that you have "something" on, but I don't see that strap staying clean for long. In fact, one of the cleats I received had dirt on the strap. The spikes themselves seem really solid. I have microspikes for hiking, but these will be very handy to keep in the car in case one of us needs them unexpectedly (or maybe even one of my hiking partners 😄). I'm glad to have them and I hope the elastic is long-lasting.
