I purchased these socks to stay clear of ticks and chiggers. I am a realtor and in showing land chiggers were just having a field day with me. These sock are treated with a product to repel ticks and chiggers, and that treatment lasts for up to 70 washings. I have had no problems since I started wearing these socks and one night when I was getting ready to shower found a dead tick attached to one of the socks.

These socks cut off my circulation shortly after putting them on.. My legs are not big--the elastic at the top of the socks was just way too tight. Not meant for all-day wear (or even a few hours). Disappointed.

I love these socks. They are super comfortable and they keep the bugs off. They also have a great amount of elasticity so they provide light compression too. A must have for the garden.
